Good food, but very rude attitude

My husband and I went in this restaurant at 5ish pm becuase we saw numerous good reviews about this shop on openrice. All their tables were empty when we stepped in. But obviously the waitress/boss' wife didn't appreciate our arrival. After we ordered butter chicken, spinach rice and 2 mango lassi, she said 'this is a small order'. we explained we had some food elsewhere already. she sneered at us loudly and didn't seem to respect our choice. After we ordered butter chicken, spinach rice and 2 mango lassi, she said 'this is a small order'. we explained we had some food elsewhere already. she sneered at us loudly and didn't seem to respect our choice. I won't unfairly said the food is aweful - in fact the Indian cuisine was quite impressive, but I didn't enjoy the meal at all. No matter what you think of our bill, you didn't specify a minimum spending per head in advance and you didn't have any customers before us, I simply couldn't understand how dare you gave your customers such a rude response. We have all the freedom to order what we like to eat and reject what we don't feel like having. Hope you've learned a lesson
