Another new Japanese restaurant serving Kappo cuisine. It's located on a high floor of a new commercial building in Sheung Wan. It has a stunning view of the Victoria Harbor, and the staff recommend patrons to go back for dinner at around 6pm to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunset glow. Lunch is a six-course set menu. I have to admit that I enjoy every single course of the meal. Crab meat of the appetizer, the sashimi and sushi are as fresh as you can get from the best Japanese restaurants a
Lunch is a six-course set menu. I have to admit that I enjoy every single course of the meal. Crab meat of the appetizer, the sashimi and sushi are as fresh as you can get from the best Japanese restaurants around town. If I really have to pick the course that I like best, I would probably choose the steamed egg custard. The smell of seared foie gras and black truffle is amazing. The wagyu beef sukiyaki is prepared just right. Sweetness and savory of the sauce was well balanced. The somen in soy bean milk on its own offers me a good reason to revisit this restaurant. The noodle is so creamy that it virtually slides into my throat. The soy bean milk is absolutely aromatic. The tofu ice cream is perhaps the least outstanding one, but nonetheless still a good choice.
Service is also very good, attentive staff. Just one feedback, no air conditioning in the toilet!
