Came back again to his popular place - you would have to book everytime you wanted to check in. There is always a little queue during the peak hour 7:30PM onwards till 9PM. We were lucky this time, we only waited for about 15-20 minutes and we were given a table for 2. We ordered the famous clay pot steamed rice - we had the preserved Chinese sausages - the twins, i.e. the pork one and the one made of liver. We also had pork ribs. We were lucky this time, we only waited for about 15-20 minutes and we were given a table for 2. We ordered the famous clay pot steamed rice - we had the preserved Chinese sausages - the twins, i.e. the pork one and the one made of liver. We also had pork ribs. This one would wait for about 15-20 minutes for the production time. At the same time, we ordered /tried their home-made chicken 'gui fei' chicken - our 1st time experience. Wow, it came in with nice presentation, simple and basic and it's tasty and fresh.
We also ordered fried 'go tu' fish with salted/garlic taste - it looked so nice and it was crispy. The vergetable -simple dish with soup was good too.
Our rice - the clay pot came, it looked beautifully and once agin, its taste was good. We love it - not too dry, not too wet. Just right.
We will come back.
