No reservation was allowed for lunch so we came earlier to look for seats. Seats were pretty open and were overlooking Cafe Landmark downstairs. We were a bit surprised that we had to order and pay at the counter first. Maybe because the seats were too dispersed? The "compensation" was that no service charge was levied.

We ordered 2 salty crepes + 1 sweet crepe + 1 waffle. We were told that each crepe would need 15 min to prepare. Luckily, they arrived much sooner than warned!

The first crepe arrived very soon! I was so surprised that the crepe came in such a large portion seemingly, although it was actually super thin so there was in fact not much carbs. It smelt very good of cheese. The egg yolk looked so tempting. It was a bit hard to use a fork to eat because it was super crispy. When I first ate it, it was so good with the plentiful salty Gruyere cheese which made the crepe not dry at all. The crab was a pass as it seemed to be some real crab meat. Maybe the only complaint was that there was so little tomato and spinach. The green salad on the side was just average. I think it was a very good crepe overall

This crepe was much worse because it was too dry. The smoked salmon was too thin and dry. The herb on the toppings, maybe dill?, was too salty. There were too little spinach (just 4 pieces). The potatoes were surprisingly the best. Overall, very disappointing

The chocolate crepe was very good. You had a mixture of super thin and crispy texture on the outside together with thicker and soft texture on the inside. Unfortunately, it was no longer hot/warm when served. There were plenty of ice-cream/cream/sauce for this crepe. The chocolate ice-cream was ok. I particularly liked the ganache inside the crepe - there was plenty. The praline crisp was also pretty good although I wish there were more. Surprisingly I couldn't taste coffee in the crepe as I was never a fan of coffee so it was a bonus to me. Delicious!

The waffles were very crispy although they were not served hot. They were obviously better than those waffles we normally had out there as the waffles here were very crispy and thinner than usual. The vanilla ice-cream was of top-notch quality too. There was also an appropriate amount of berries to eat with the waffles. I personally didn't like the paste below the chestnuts which was too alcoholic. Overall, it was still a very pretty good dessert!

If you ask me, I would say the desserts seemed to be of better value for money. For salty crepes, those with sufficient amount of cheese should be good but they were generally more expensive than desserts.
