Finally made my visit to Venedia Grancaffè! An all-day dining concept created by the group behind 8 1/2 Otto E Mezzo Bombana and Octavium. Pic 1️⃣: 𝑻𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒊 - Seared Hokkaido Scallops, Leeks, Spicy Shellfish Sauce
— Absolutely loved this! The pasta was simply cooked to perfection, al dente with just the right amount of chew to it. Scallops were also very well executed, pan seared perfectly, leaving the meat very tender and juicy. The spicy shellfish sauce was really addicting and the thin texture of the pasta really soaked up all the goodness of it. The sauce had a rich blend of shellfish flavours and insanely flavourful. Though personally the sauce was quite sweet for me, and I would’ve preferred a more rich, savoury sauce.
Pic 2️⃣: 𝑻𝒂𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 - 36-hour three cuts beef ragout
— Another outstanding pasta dish. I enjoyed the thickness and texture of this pasta a bit more too!The beef ragout was full of flavour and a truly comforting and filling meal to have. The cherry tomatoes also added a nice touch of acidity to the dish which cut through the heaviness of the beef ragout and made the dish even more appetising.
Pic 3️⃣: 𝑪𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒚 𝑩𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒂 - Melon, confit tomato, hazelnut, basil
— Really nicely plated but also thought it covered up the star of the show which was the burrata 😂 Other than that, the burrata was creamy, light and had a delicate taste to it. It went well with the sweetness of the melon and also the acidity from the confit tomatoes. My favourite touch was the addition of hazelnuts which complemented the burrata really well and added a nice aroma and crunch to this appetiser.

— A very hearty bowl of soup that was full of vegetable goodness! A bit too strong on the celery for me but otherwise quite nice!
Pic 5️⃣: 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒄 𝑻𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒖 - $90 hkd
— One of the best tiramisu’s I’ve had recently! The mascarpone was super light and creamy, nicely sweetened too. The ladyfingers were soaked in a delicious coffee and liqueur mixture which wasn’t overly strong and easy on the palate. Loved that this was served super cold too!
📍Ambiance: Simple yet elegant decor, staff are friendly and professional. But the restaurant is sooo cold 😅
