There are a few laksa places in this street and we randomly picked this one for a quick tea before an appointment. We looked at the menu and most of the dishes are quick expensive e.g. special laksa or some sort costs $70 a bowl! I picked prawn noodle with fishball. The so-called prawns were actually one tiny piece of prawn cut into two halves, not fresh at all. The noodle soup base did not taste like prawn either. I definitely don't think the noodle worths $36 with the ingredients and the taste. I would think a simple tea set at any Chinese tea house with the same price would taste better than this. The bubbly ribena we ordered was only bubbly for the first two sips. It went flat pretty soon.
Saw the poster that Choi-san actually recommended this place - perhaps he needs to think twice about it. No need to try here unless you don't mind wasting your money...
