Tried this Hunan cuisine and not disappointed at all. The place was nicely décor with home like atmosphere. Some comments mentioned that boss lady was rude but we didn’t find that at all. She was very friendly. Reviews of food: (1) Freshness of the land/ 3 treasures of the land- Stir Fried Green Pepper and Eggplant, Potato. Yummy, very well-seasoned potato (2) Fried Pork in Scoop/ double cooked pork slices. Crunchy batter with finely sliced pork, slight sweet and vinegary flavour. Appetis

(3) Lamb chop- a bit of heat with the chili, tender lamb
(4) Eggplant (cold dish) balancing out the strong favour of other dishes
(5) Soup with “dough”-filling and quite interesting as it resembled rice so giving a bit of starch to fill your stomach. Definitely comfort food for a cold day.
(6) Dessert-strawberry pulled (melting crystal sugar and white sugar for the coat), definitely sugar coating the strawberries in a good way. The chef would come out and do it in front of the patrons. Definitely a little performance and treat.
Enjoyed it as something different. Yummy North-eastern cuisine. Cosy atmosphere but they are usually full so do make reservation in advance. Will visit again
