This was my first visit. When mom and I sat down, a lady there asked us what we wanna have. I could not answer her at once. I was busy looking at the words on the wall. After a couple minutes, I told the lady I wanna have "cheung fun". She told me to come out and line up. When I was lining up, she asked me again what I wanted. I thought she's about to take my order so I told her "fish ball, curry beef brisket and vegetables". She starred at me. Yes I was stupid. There's no curry beef brisket, bu
When I got back to my seat, I ordered iced Yuen Yang, coffee and Set F. The lady shouted at me again, "What is Set F???" I was a bit scared, then I looked up the wall menu again. oops, Set F is for breakfast. So I apologized to her and ordered french toast instead. After a minute, my mom asked the lady if she could have fish on toast instead if the french toast had not been made. That lady got very impatient. She asked my mom, "Why don't you go out and check?" I was shocked. Why wouldnt the lady go out and check for us? My mom was very obedient. She did go out and find the way. That lady kept shouting out instructions. "Go out, keep going! keep going! and turn left!" I really got fed up at that time, so I asked, why didnt you go out and check for us?
I was so confused of all those complicated logistics. It would be better if the staff can be more patient and helpful. We newbies were really a bit clumsy indeed, but I dont think we deserved to be treated so badly huh?
About the food, the cheung fun was good. Beef brisket was of a small portion but tasted okay. But the iced Yuen Yang was super sweet. Once again, it could be my fault. I forgot to say, "Not so sweet and not so rude please."
If I were alone, I would have walked away for long.
