Came to Causeway Bay for some shopping and my partner decided to take me to this Cha Chaan Teng. 🙏🏼 It's tucked away in a little ally and very cute. The staff are very old school in a sense that it was mixed with friendly and indifference. I know some people might not like that but I enjoyed it, you just ask for what you want and they give it to you no frills.Got to the restaurant around 2:30 on Easter Monday. Got to the restaurant around 2:30 on Easter Monday. The outside was busy so we sat inside. We started with a milk tea and iced lemon tea and Pinapple Bun with Butter. SO GOOD 🙌🏼. Then for lunch we had the Stir Fried BBQ Pork with Spaghetti and Baked Porkchop on Rice with Pinapple. Very classic tastes and the baked rice was VERY SAUCEY and cheesy. I like to wait for my rice to cool down to eat because it brings out more of the cheesy flavor after I mix it all up.
As we finished lunch more people showed up and a lot of them ordered the specials on the boards (all written in Chinese). I wish I had ordered some of them! Everything on the menu looked good. I would definitely come back and eat through the menu if I had more days in HK. In total our bill came to a little over $200HKD. 🐷😱❤️ Needless to say, YUM.
