Boyfriend and I were in Kowloon Bay and decided to just eat something quickly nearby. Not sure what to eat, we decided to try out Bangkok Kitchen as it seemed to have several favorable reviews.Located in the TBG Mall, it's cutely designed to look like a train station. During lunch time, they have a lunch set menu that includes a drink. After 2 PM, the prices are a few dollars lower. Menu is in English and Chinese. Boyfriend had the Pan Fried Egg and Minced Pork Rice with Bay Leaf ($42). It wasn't very spicy as the menu claimed. In fact it was a bit under seasoned and extremely oily. Portion size wasn't too big and boyfriend left hungry.
I had the Pad Thai ($45). This was unseasoned as well and very very dry. There were a total of three plump shrimp that was at least fresh. Other than that, this was a pretty terrible pad thai.
Prices were cheap but food wasn't that good. The place seemed clean. But definitely won't be back.
