Even though I went on OpenRice to see what dishes were recommended, I struggled to choose what to try since everything was in Chinese 😅 The waitress was really nice though and explained what the some of the different dishes to me which was really nice of her and I ended up choosing 蝦子牛腩牛筋撈麵. She even told me that I can get some pickled carrots from the jar on the table. The dish consisted of beef, beef tendon, noodles, and Chinese broccoli. It also came with a bowl of soup. The beef was on the chewier side, but it was juicy. The noodles had this powder sprinkled on top of it and sauce under it, so I mixed it all together and it was delicious 😋 While eating, I started chatting with a local and he told me that there's another restaurant close by with the same owner. He recommended me to try there next time because the "food is better there" haha. He also recommended 蝦子蠔油冬菇撈河, so I will try that when I go to the other restaurant next time 😆.

I really liked the service at this restaurant. Not only did the waitress helped me with my order, she was really patient and explained the different dishes to me. Usually, the servers are impatient and a bit rude 😅 I later found out that there's an English menu since a group of foreigners came in and they got a different menu 😅 I probably should have asked for it when I first sat down haha.
