After we finished shopping at Aeonstyle, we went to Zou Qing for dinner, It was located at Kornhill Plaza, above TaiKoo MTR.The decor was modern looking yet ancient in theme, with ancient painting, brushes and bicycles as their decor. They provided dinner set for 2 person as well as served sides, noodle, vegetables, dim sum, rice, congee, rice rolls and drinks etc. Tea pot, kettle and cup was in traditional style, very pleasing. They provided dinner set for 2 person as well as served sides, noodle, vegetables, dim sum, rice, congee, rice rolls and drinks etc.
Tea pot, kettle and cup was in traditional style, very pleasing.
As we ordered dinner set, we topped up for the drinks. Iced HK style coffee with tea was smooth and milky, with strong coffee taste. Milo dinosaur was sweet and thick in texture, with plenty of Milo powder on top of the drink.
Fried fish skin was fried till crispy, thin in texture. Soup was provided to dip onto it, absorbing the essence of the soup broth.
Deep fried dace cake with clam sauce - It was chewy and juicy, with the clam sauce helping to make it flavourful.
Steamed pork dumplings with crab roe - It was steamed till chewy and juicy, fresh in taste.
Deep fried spring rolls with shrimp and lemongrass - It was fried till the skin was crispy and yet the prawn fillings inside was fresh and juicy, with sauce provided to dip onto it.
Homemade fish ball flat rice noodle - Flat rice noodle was very soft and smooth, with the soup clear and sweet in taste. Fish ball was soft and smooth, very chewy.
Sampan congee - It was served in a huge bowl, with plenty of ingredients in it such as cut octopus, pig skin, peanuts, pork and scallion etc. Congee was boiled till thick in texture and smooth, with the ingredients very fresh.
Chinese chives was cut into slices, boiled till very juicy and chewy, with oyster sauce provided to enhance the flavour.
