It was a sunny afternoon on a weekend and I’ve decided to have some quality time with a lady friend at Grand Hyat Tiffin Lounge for tea. The view was great except that the sun was quite strong at the time of the day; our seats were nice and cozy.
This was actually the first afternoon tea buffet I’ve been to that serves unlimited ice cream and ice cream cakes! But before commenting on the buffet area, let’s talk about the tea set itself. The savories and pastries were quite delicious especially for the tarts and scones; I loved the buttery flavor of them. The whole presentation of the tea set was quite interesting as well, they used a swirling four layer tier to hold all the sweets and savories together.
For the buffet area, there were too many cake choices and ice cream flavors for us to taste. All of the sweets were at high quality and the ice cream were homemade and they tasted great~
Overall rating of that day’s tea would be 3.8/5, with majority of the points going to the buffet concept of it. Nice one.
