The menu has around 7 main dishes and 3 appetisers. The main dishes are a good portion and you can choose from an array of noodles and rice dishes containing: beef, chicken, veggies and crab meat. The "Khao Soi" of curried beef with fresh egg noodles is one of the popular dishes. If you enjoy the richness and deliciousness of curry flavours in your food, be sure to order this dish! You can also order the chicken version if you don't eat beef. The egg noodles were so fresh and made to the utmost perfection. To top this off, add a lime soda or a Thai Milk Tea for only ($18+) and it's a perfect meal. If you are looking to share a couple of dishes with your friends, I recommend ordering the Crab Meat Fried Rice or the Wagyu Beef Wok Fried with Holy Basil, Thai Garlic, Chilli, Topped with a Fried Egg, the Wok Fried Thai Watercress, and of course, the Classic Pounded Green Papaya Salad with Toasted Peanuts. These dishes are filled with Thai seasonings and flavours, and will literally make you feel like you are in the heart of Thailand!
On another note, the staff were super friendly and welcoming. They were attentive and made my dining experience smooth and enjoyable. If you are also looking to go to Samsen for a quick bite, or a work lunch, you'll have just enough time to eat, chit chat, and wait for your food, all within the one hour! I definitely recommend Samsen - it's worth a try!
