Bear Mocha with Pasta for Lunch at Mong KokHave been always wanted to visit this place because of their iced bear mocha and today we finally had the chance to check it out. We ordered two lunch sets with pasta, side dish and drinks.
The first pasta was the golden shrimp with pasta. The pasta wasn't too salty even though they used salty eggs. However, I believe if they used tiger prawns instead, the dish would be more fulfilling and even more aesthetically pleasing. This taste of the dish wasn't bad, so those were just some of my suggestions.

The second pasta is the carbonara with egg. When we ordered, there was an option to have more or less sauce. Since it was our first time visiting. we just ordered the regular. However, I would recommend taking the option of less sauce because I think the sauce was a little bit too much, which makes the noodles a bit soggy. The overall taste is a little bit too salty as well, so I would highly recommend others trying to order it with fewer sauce next time.

Side snacks were average. We ordered the cream cheese with mushroom chicken wings and fried chicken. They weren't exceptionally good, but they were a good side snack to go with the pasta.

Lastly, I ordered one of their famous drinks - the Iced Bear Mocha. They allow you to pour the coffee and milk by yourself, so it was an interesting experience to try. This was also quite aesthetically pleasing so it was good for photos and videos.

Overall dining experience was average in my humble opinion, but I would recommend others to try it out sometime too if they ever passed by Mong Kok.
