Appetizers: IL CARPACCIO DI BRESAOLA - we started the dinner with this cold beef dish. The beef was very thinly sliced and nicely cured. The burrata was a nice chew and creaminess to it. Mushrooms were very fresh while the orange vinaigrette provided a tangy punch to the dish.
SICILIAN STYLE TUNA LOIN - the dish was very thoughtfully crafted and well plated. The combination of the bell pepper puree worked very with with the tuna loin. (i felt quite MMD, easily worse dish)
PAN FRIED TUSCAN GOOSE LIVER - Figs and Goose liver are a winning combination. The goose liver had a deep intense flavor while the sweetness of the figs ensured that you will not find the dish too heavy.
ANGELI DI MARE - the pasta was extremely delicious. The sauce was a thick creamy crustacean bisque that coated the al dente angel hair very well. Prawns were well prepared. You can taste the freshness of the ocean and the prawns melt in your mouth
BUTTER POACHED LOBSTER - We looked forward to this. The lobster was well plated sitting atop fregola sarda pasta. Despite being poached in butter, the lobster was not oily or heavy at all. Lobster meat was well seasoned and cooked tenderly. The pasta had a nice deep tomato flavor that cuts through any lingering butter taste you might get from the lobster
