We had a disappointing experience at Turtle by the Sea last night. The response from the hostess was dismissive and unhelpful when we politely requested a bigger table, despite the restaurant being only partially occupied. To our surprise, a manager abruptly approached us and informed us that the restaurant does not allow pets, and we had to leave immediately. To our surprise, a manager abruptly approached us and informed us that the restaurant does not allow pets, and we had to leave immediately. While we understand the importance of maintaining a pet-free environment in certain establishments, we felt that the manager's approach was unprofessional and could have been handled with more tact. This sudden approach left your guests feeling embarrassed and unwelcome.
As a manager, it would be beneficial to consider providing alternative arrangements for guests with pets, such as dining in the outdoor area, particularly in a pet-friendly community like Sai Kung.
Unfortunately, the unprofessional gestures we encountered during our visit have left a negative impression and discouraged us from returning.
