Vietnamese is NOT just about pho and banh mi! Here at Le Garçon Saigon, chefs focus on the Saigonese culture of grilling, presenting grilled meat dishes full of Vietnamese flavour, but with a modern flare 🔥_Lunch set begins with a 𝙑𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙗𝙨 & 𝙘𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙙, or soup of the day (which for us that day, was a 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙛 𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙝). Mains include a wide array of grilled meat/veggie options. We absolutely loveddd the 𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙬𝙖𝙜𝙮𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙚𝙛. It was soso tender and flavourful, with just the right amount of tanginess to brighten up the whole dish. Couldn’t have asked for a better accompaniment to the broken rice! And if you’re a fish lover like me, you’re def gonna go crazy for their 𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩 𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙝! The sea bass we had that day was SENSATIONAL! Skin was perfectly crisp with a beautiful char, while the flesh remained incredibly succulent, buttery and delicate🤤🤤🤤

Desserts are also available for an extra cost of $78. Highly recommend the 𝙘𝙤𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙜𝙖𝙩𝙤. The ice cream just screams coconut and has a very unique smokey flavour that pairs perfectly with the Vietnamese coffee! Perfect ending to the meal!

𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐭: $198 for a 2-course set lunch isn’t all that cheap, but everything here from the flavour combinations of their dishes, seasoning, cook on meats, to the service and environment are just soooo on point👌🏼 plus considering the star street location, I’d say it’s a reasonable deal. Certainly one of my fav Vietnamese restos in town now 😆
