😸 I have posted a review of Paradise Veggie a while ago, however, since then I’ve visited the restaurant countless times and felt like it was necessary for me to make a post about them again! My opinion hasn’t really changed much, so this is more of a visual post, rather than an opinionated one.Since the options were the same as when I last visited, you can refer to my older post for my food commentary.
Paradise Veggie is one of my favourite vegetarian buffets ever - they have a lottt of variety, including Asian dishes that are usually not offered in other places, such as Shanghai braised wheat gluten (烤麩), curry fish balls (see previous review for reference), Indian curry puffs, vegan sushi that’s not just avocado and cucumber rolls (see previous review for reference), etc!
After I left HK, I saw that they finally switched up their options! My friend who has been frequenting them has been telling me about how good the new food is, so I cannot wait to come back and try 😙 I do wish that they changed the dishes more often, like @my_meat_run_buddy who has a themed buffets!
The only downside(?) is that the food is generally heavier than in other establishments, so this may not be a place for weekly visits if you cannot control yourself in all you can eat buffets… like me 🤡
