I had a lunch gathering with colleagues at Agehan at Exchange Square. Long time no come. I already forgot when I last visited this place. The menu looked more or less the same as before. Grilled snapper was very big. Unfortunately, the quality was quite bad. The fish scales were still on the skin. There were quite some bones. The worst of all was that the skin was not crispy and the flesh was quite dry and a bit too salty. The flesh was not fresh at all. I felt that the whole fillet was wasted. Some mashed radish and a piece of lemon came along with the fish but they didn't help much.

Comparatively, the stewed egg with beef was much better. There were quite a few slices of beef which were quite fatty but not too hard to chew. The egg was reasonably smooth. There were also some sliced onions to accompany the beef and eggs. The good thing was the sauce which was slightly sweet and went well with the rice. The bowl of rice was quite small, which I appreciated as I wasn't too hungry. The quality of the rice was so-so.
Accompanying the mains there were pickles, appetisers and miso soup. There were 2 types of pickles: 2 slices of radish and some greens, the latter were super super salty. Appetiser was ok. Miso soup was normal but had quite a lot of ingredients like seaweeds.
After finishing the food, there was a small cup of coffee included in the set. Unfortunately I don't drink coffee.
We came in a large group so we occupied seemingly the only VIP room. This room was nice because it was good to have a chat in such a private room. However, service was quite bad as the servers expected us to pass over the food while there were 2 big plastic shields in the middle of our table so we had to climb up from the seats to pass on the food on our own. What kind of service was it?!
I would probably never come back on my own.
