What’s the most important thing you look at when picking an afternoon tea spot? The sweets? Savouries? Tea...? Tiffin has always been one of my favourite afternoon tea spots in HK. They’re now collaborating with Tealeaves from Canada to serve amazing aromatic tea together with their elegant tea set.
The tea set itself was very much elegant and appealing. On the top layer were 4 British scones with cream cheese, cranberry sauce and lemon custard. I liked the plain scone better than the one with berries as it had a very nice texture. The sweets were placed on the middle layer and the savouries were at the bottom. My fav among all would be the foie gras terrine and the lobster cocktail on Parmesan biscuit.
Their dessert bar serving homemade gelato, waffles & fruits is another reason I’m in love with this place.
Here are some of their special gelato flavours:
- ‘Pigs Can Fly’- salted egg yolk,
- ‘So Thai’- mango sticky rice
- Crispy Crunch Maple
It’s almost impossible to choose among them so I got them all. 💁🏻♀️
