Trying out Yakiniku Kurashita which specialises in A5 Japanese Wagyu and also a great variety of rare cuts that are totally worth the try! — Great selection of wagyu, with a few rare cuts included too. You can tell that their meat is really high quality as it simply melted in your mouth and had perfect marbling. Amongst the various cuts, my favourite was the Misuji; insanely fatty and tender but still had a meaty flavour to it. Definitely recommend ordering this platter to get a taste of their different cuts!
Pic 3️⃣: 幻切牛舌
— This was AMAZING. This unique cut comes from the tip of the ox’s tongue and is cut into thick strips which makes it easier to cook as this can’t be consumed too raw. This part of the ox tongue is extremely tender with the perfect distribution of fat too. It has a crisp texture and also really juicy. Definitely recommend reserving this when making a reservation this as they only have limited portions!

— A yakiniku meal isn’t complete without rice. Great accompaniment with the beef. The onsen egg was perfectly cooked and the yolk was super runny and rich in flavour too. Think this can do with a bit of sauce for some extra flavour!

— Really great way to start off the meal. The acidic elements in this dish really opens up your appetite. The pickled octopus was perfectly marinated and also very tender still with a good chew to it. The roast beef had a mild smoky aroma to it and had a great beefy taste to it despite how thin it was.
📍Ambiance: Small but cozy interior, can get a bit smoky in there when it’s crowded and everyone’s grilling food around you. Staff are so friendly, you can really feel their passion and enthusiasm
⭐️ Would visit again?: Yes definitely!
