I saw some photos online that showed a bowl of noodles with a whole fish on top. I wondered where it was. After a little bit of searching, I found it was here. Located in Wanchai on the street where locals like to nick name it Toy Street. is this noodle shop that serves bowls of steaming hot vermicelli noodles with a whole pan fried fish of your choice. I ordered yellowtail perch. The whole fish was pan fried and placed on top. The noodles were ok and the soup was actually a very sweet (yet MSG laced) fish soup. The star of the show was the fish. It was fresh and cooked perfectly. Not overcooked. There was a small amount of bone. The skin was crispy (well ... except for the parts soaked in soup). A fairly large bowl. I was pretty full.

It wasn't a cheap bowl of noodles but then again you get a whole fish. So, I would consider it a good deal for those that love eating fish as that was pretty good. I just wonder why they had to put it on top of the noodles? Would probably return.
