This dish was the main reason why we bookmarked this place! The waiter first poured the sukiyaki broth to melt the fluffy cotton candy, then smeared the pan with fat to ensure the gorgeous wagyu wouldn’t stick and cooked each piece to a perfect medium rare. She even cut the last piece so we both got an equal share. We dipped the super tender meat in raw egg yolk with spring onions, taking those flavours to a whole new level
This signature cut was insanely thick and practically stretched half an arm's length! The waiter helped us cut it into 3 pieces for grilling. The fire-grilled flavour made the beef more textural with a smoky sweet taste.
We opted for the salted version to savour that pure unadulterated meaty goodness over garlic and onion. Each slice was well seasoned and just melted in our mouths.
The waiter helped us to mix the fresh raw beef with the raw egg, kimchi, bean sprouts, spinach and other ingredients in the sizzling stone pot. We let it sit for a while before digging in, so that we could get that golden crunchy rice at the bottom. Surprisingly, the spiciness level was mild enough for me to handle!
We went for the grape and citron lemon flavors, both topped with delightful fruit pieces. The citron lemon was an instant refresher, offering a burst of zesty goodness, while the grape had this irresistible syrupy sweetness that hit all the right notes.
