Ninety's has come a long way since it's one cafe in Wanchai. They now have several branches around Hong Kong Island and expanding. One branch is located in Causeway Bay. I usually come here for take away coffee on my way home. But on this day, I felt like having a treat and decided to dine in.Menu is in English only. You order by a QR code ordering system that worked very smoothly and had no problems. I haven't dined in this place in a long while and noticed their menu has expanded quite a bit

They've even gotten a bit more fancy with a bottle of water with a piece of Japanese charcoal.
I wanted something sweet after work so ordered the 93 affogato ($68). A big scoop of walnut maple syrup ice cream. The espresso was served on the side. Like their trademark, they place the card of what beans they used. This is the 93 Points Choco Blend which only means they scored 93 points in Coffee Review if you find that sort of statistic important. Personally, I don't. But I did like the espresso. It was nutty with a slight chocolately hazelnut taste. Wasn't too acidic. The ice cream was fantastic. I would just have this alone if I could. Smooth and luxurious. I'm not a big fan of walnut but this went well with the sweet maple syrup from the ice cream.
Pouring it all together, it was delicious. Decandent and creamy. The espresso matched well with the ice cream.
A lovely dessert break. Place is comfortable but it is horribly noisy as diners do talk very loud. And staff seem rushed to clear plates.
