Exploring the Camel Paint Building, we noticed a crowd of people. What were they looking at? It apparently was a cake shop called Holam Bakery. From the display, they offered a variety of crepe cakes in both slices and whole cakes. People were ordering the slices on display for take away. Pre-order was also availble. We decided to follow the crowds and choose a slice. After much thought, we decided on the rose version ($36). The layers were thin with a equally thin layer of cream. Slicing it with my fork, it cut neatly with no cream squeezing out and not crepe layers falling out of place. It was perfect. Just as perfect as Lady M. The taste of rose was light and not over powering. This was an excellent slice of cake. I could understand why there was such a crowd. Will definitely try another one next time.
