We decided to dine at Munch after reading some reviews from Openrice, on our recent trip to Hong Kong. Although it was for my Birthday, we didn't want something too expensive... but taste was definitely a consideration. The place was not very busy on a Sunday night and we got a table immediately.Service was prompt, polite and thoughtful! They started us with a basket of warm bread and butter. Service was prompt, polite and thoughtful! They started us with a basket of warm bread and butter. Following that, all of the items tasted wonderful; this includes the caesar salad and my hubby, who is not a veg lover, commented on how the caesar dressing was perfect in taste without being too bland or heavy. The crab cake was as good as what other reviewers wrote, warm and delicious and we woofed it down in minutes. The truffle carbonara pasta was so good - sauce was perfect just like the salad and the portion was huge.
We were very full from the three dishes and managed to have dessert. The staff presented it with the Birthday art which delighted me very much. They also gave me a box of Munch chocolates as a gift for my birthday. The overall experience was excellent and I would highly recommend anyone to dine there, not just for a special ocassion =)
