60 min waiting for the food

I just went there with friend and waited for 40min. I cannot wait any more and my friend asked them if ours were cooked if not we would leave. Then we left without eating anything but waiting there for more than 40 min! They did not say sorry or something and it seems that it was our fault to leave. I cannot speak Cantonese I really shocked by the service of this restaurant
