Finally got to try out the 3 Michelin starred 🌟 Lung King Heen at Four Seasons Hong Kong! Had really high expectations for this place after hearing so much about it and I’d say it lived up to its reputation! Booked this months in advance so call in early to avoid disappointment! Pic 1️⃣: 葡汁鱸魚千絲酥 - $108 hkd
— This sounded really interesting on the menu but the flavours weren’t as rich as what I had in mind. The flavour of the Portuguese sauce is quite faint, though the sea bass flavour was really pronounced. The puff itself had a crispy exterior though it was a bit oily.


Pic 2️⃣: 崧子叉燒菠蘿包 - $108 hkd
— The pineapple crust was crispy and contrasted well with the softness of the bun. The chasiu filling was flavourful and I really loved the addition of pine nuts for added texture and fragrance.


Pic 3️⃣&4️⃣: 非同「飯」響 - $350 hkd
— A MUST ORDER! I’ve heard so much about this “fried rice” and had to try it out for myself. This isn’t actually made with rice but actually Puntalette pasta that is cooked and stir fried to a dry finish that resembles rice. This dish was boasting with flavour coming from the minced beef and X.O sauce. This is definitely a dish to try out if you’re looking for something unique with complex flavours.

— The cuttlefish filling was flavourful and had a nice springy texture. Loved the chopped fresh scallops on top.


Pic 6️⃣: 竹笙雜菌餃 - $108 hkd
— Fragrant mushroom filling. Usually not a fan of bamboo piths but these really added a “crunchy” texture to the dumpling which I enjoyed.


Pic 7️⃣: 黃湯雞粒粉粿 - $108 hkd
— This was their special weekend dimsum! The dumpling had a rich chicken broth filling that was bursting with flavour. However the texture of the dumpling was overly soft.

— Presentation is super adorable! They definitely did not skimp on the amount of crabmeat in this. Each bite was full of crabmeat with a strong crab flavour that paired really well with the accompanying vinegar.

📍Ambiance: bright, spacious interior, service is immaculate and staff are super polite and friendly
