First time having Philippino food and Holy Gaw took my virginity. For appetizers, we started with Gambas and crispy Filipino spring rolls. The Beef ‘Salpicao’ was hugeeee and it was more than enough for four people. The sweet onion underneath it was a great match, and even better with the toast soft rolls. Then there's the Peanut Stew ‘Kare Kare’, which was a bunch of vegetables plated nicely on top of a pbowl of penut sauce. Too oily for me. Finally, we had a mackerel dish and a yin yang chicken, not very memorable compared with the starters.
For dessert, we couldn't leave without having the Ube ice cream sandwich. The soft rolls cushioning the housemade ice cream were so goooood and so softtttt even though we were very full already. We had one ube and one avocado. The bread of the avocado ice cream sandwich was bomb but the ube ice cream itself was better. After alllll that food it was still only $350!
