Today, we passed by this 13 years old Japanese restaurant. While it ling passed its fresh opening, the hype is still there as we’ve seen people still lining up it. It means something about this restaurant. We order some appetizers, snacks and main course to see if it’s any good. Cold Japanese tofu with truffle - you really can’t go wrong with truffle, can’t you? It’s a great appetizers because truffle goes very well with the tofu. Cold Japanese tofu with truffle - you really can’t go wrong with truffle, can’t you? It’s a great appetizers because truffle goes very well with the tofu.

Spinach with salad dressing - this is very good too. A nice little appetizer.

Thick cut pork with udon - the best udon I’ve ever tried. We ordered the one with the mushroom soup based. It’s surprisingly good. The thick cut pork is so soft, with the perfect fat and meat ratio which melt inside instantly in your mouth. The udon is hand-made; even thought the soup is boiling hot, it did not over cooked the udon.

Squid fried egg - it’s a work of art. The egg itself is covered with meshed squids, and deep fried. The yolk is still melting inside, while the outside remained crispy. Unbelievable! Besides, they also cane with fried crab meat. It also tastes very delicious.

Deep fried pork - this is the best deep fried pork I’ve ever tried. The pork is super juicy even thought it’s deep fried. Not only that, between the crispy skin and pork, there’s a layer of sauce in between. Maybe that’s the secret why the pork remained its tenderness?

Baked scallop with creamy cheese sauce - it’s tasty. The scallop is fresh and big. The cheese goes well with it. I recommend this.

Overall, the restaurant speaks for itself. For 30 years into business focusing in Japanese pork, I believe it earns its place. I highly recommend this restaurant.
