Ankôma is located in Tsim Sha Tsui. The restaurant's pared-back interior and atmosphere focus on offering guests a minimalist experience. The menu flits between French and Japanese cuisine, I have to say the food presentation is definitely fantastic while enhancing its aesthetic appeal. I had 9-course meal for dinner, starting the taste buds off with the (1) Tuna and (2) Uni; both were so iconic. The following (3) Oyster was from Hokkaido. The menu flits between French and Japanese cuisine, I have to say the food presentation is definitely fantastic while enhancing its aesthetic appeal. I had 9-course meal for dinner, starting the taste buds off with the (1) Tuna and (2) Uni; both were so iconic. The following (3) Oyster was from Hokkaido. It had a creamy texture and lightly Banno-negi oil flavour. So GOOD!


The (4) Shi-ma ebi and (5) Pasta were branded in my memory. The sea grapes, mozuku and ponzu turn into concentrated flavour bombs that explode with sourness and sweetness in a bite of the tempura shrimp. The Pasta infused with white truffle oil and wakame, dressed with flowers and topped with caviar which fulfilled your caviar dreams. I loved every dish here, each dish showcased a different method of cooking. It's worth a try!


Dinner Menu (HKD1480 per person):
1. Tuna – Tuna tartare, crispy cylinder, nori powder, yuzu kosho
2. Uni – Hokkaido sea urchin, brioche french toast, lime zest
3. Oyster – Seasonal oyster, Banno-negi oil
4. Shi-ma ebi – Kombu-jime aged drunken shrimp, tempura shrimp head, sea grapes, mozuku, ponzu
5. Pasta – Royal Caviar Club Sturgeon, white truffle oil, wakame, angel hair pasta
6. Chawamushi – Steamed egg custard, crab meat, chicken mushroom consommé, Yamaha Take
7. Amadai – Uroko-yaki Amadai, sake beurre blanc, dill oilt
8. Chicken (+$340) – Roast Hong Kong three yellow chicken (half for 2 person), Vin jaune sauce, Japanese pearl rices, Ikura, bannonegi
9. Apple tart tatin with homemade ice cream
10. Seasonal fruit
