Long time no yum cha. Today walked in to this restaurant. Once sat down, saw this cheap offer and ordered our first dish - (1) 上湯龍蝦伊麵. It was OK. The lobsters were quite fresh. The noodles were not too oily. My first time to eat 龍蝦伊麵 at lunch haha.Then we ordered a set meal including 叉燒拼腩仔, 魚湯魚滑浸雙蔬, 海蜇手撕雞, 陳醋木耳, 鳳城蝦餃皇, 鮮肉小籠包 and 鮑汁鮮竹卷. OK. Wish the 海蜇 could have been thinner slices.
(5) 鳳城蝦餃皇
Really good! Lots of shrimps which tasted fresh. The wrapping wasn't too thick either. Yummy!
(6) 鮑汁鮮竹卷
Lack of abalone sauce. Nothing special at all.
(7) 陳醋木耳
Yummy. Pretty appetizing
(8) 鮮肉小籠包
A total failure. Thick skin. Lack of soup. They should just skip this dish on their menu.
Finally we ordered 2 desserts to end our meal.
(9) 蓮茸焗西米布甸
Have craved this dessert for a long long time! But it was a bit disappointing because I had expected more lotus paste. Really can't compare with those served at Spring Moon or Summer Palace.
(10) 椰汁馬豆糕
It broke into smaller pieces very easily.
Overall, the food was a bit disappointing, especially given the price and the location was not that central.
