We basically followed the custard smell to the shop. Didn’t realise there’s such a Japanese-style souffle pancake dessert shop in Kornhill Plaza. They also sell croffles, ice creams and drinks there. They were doing a special promotion, a 2-for-1 offer for souffle pancakes. The two must be of the same flavour though, and can’t choose the signature crème brulee flavour. We picked the chocolate banana flavour. To my surprise, they put the 2 pieces into the same plate. Though this is more environmentally friendly, I think it would be better that they put them onto 2 separate plates for this offer. Since the chocolate flavour was rich but it’s not sweet enough, while it covered the souffle pancake’s original taste. Having the banana there was a good idea, as it uplifted the taste. I think I still prefer the original flavour.
Also had the custard flavour croffle, to have a try on their custard products, which was good, and also having a discount at the time. I think the croffle is better than the soufflé pancake.
I enjoyed watching how the food was prepared and made. Their offerings are also value for money. I saw that there was one customer waiting for his takeaway orders in huge quantity. Hope the souffle pancakes still stay intact by the time they are consumed.
