having so a good experience for their tea buffet,i visited this shop for their famous mango dome cake,as my last experience in kowloon tong was missing it,put inside the far far glass cupboard for cake set only.1. mango dome tart i should call?no again.was it that expensive that no cova wanna provide it as a choice?tart only, but of course first to take,there was one piece only.oh,it was actually just crushed mango sponge covering a lot of cream,blueberry whole piece hide inside,and lemon curd o
i visited this shop for their famous mango dome cake,
as my last experience in kowloon tong was missing it,
put inside the far far glass cupboard for cake set only.
1. mango dome tart i should call?no again.
was it that expensive that no cova wanna provide it as a choice?
tart only,
but of course first to take,
there was one piece only.
oh,
it was actually just crushed mango sponge covering a lot of cream,
blueberry whole piece hide inside,
and lemon curd on chocolate sauce then a nice and crispy tart base.
not at all signature item i thought.
2. strawberriesno berries in fruit salad here,
i took mine from the decoration of apple pie,
not as fresh as those in kowloon tong shop.
3. chocolate saucea spoonful of it was so nice with the tiramisu,
also just finishing it with the fork was of my liking,
not really sweet.
4. chocolate mousse tarttop chocolate rolls was super sweet,
mousse too but a bit less,
good to add in a raspberry,
refresh the tart,
tart base was nice again,
as they sell their own cookies as i knew!
5. tiramisuno tiramisu cake was provided,
this was a big bowl and big scooping spoon type.
that's why no layers can be mention,
but cheese still smooth and nice,
with stronger flavor than mandarin cake shop and tong wong,
more cocoa can be added,
and i love their lady fingers soaked full with coffee,
no wine at all,
and bad thing was that i was the first to start this large bowl of tiramisu,
so the part i scoop was near the side and nearly half of my 6-ball spoon was dry of coffee,
then the lady finger tasted just like usual sponge,
no,
i should say a dry dry sponge.
still having hope for a next cova visit,
if i don't need to pay.
