At APM, and craving for cakes .... really not too much options. Ended up attracted to the beautiful cakes at Italian Tomato. Their cakes never disappoint me ..... always so pretty and yummy (most cases). That day, we ordered two tea sets ...... 1 cake set (of course) and the other is a pizza set.Their coffee cake was very good. Their coffee cake was very good. Actually I've tried many of their cakes before, and they tend to be bigger size than elsewhere (probably Jap style) and not too sweet. Their flavouring/appearance may not be as unique as those newly opened cake shops in HK .... but their taste is very easy to accept .... and nothing too wild. Anyhow, the cake has strong coffee taste, and I luv the chips at the top ..... a good cake indeed. And I matched it with a latte (added extra few bucks for it) .... however, their coffee is not strong and the portion a bit small.
Hubby ordered the parma ham pizza. He luv it .... however, it doesn't really taste like pizza. The crust was a bit hard, and the only real taste to the pizza were the parma ham ..... and not much tomato sauce on the pizza.
