Compared to other places where grilled fish is offered, the price here is quite reasonable. You would typically expect to pay a couple of hundred dollars or even more for a similar dish elsewhere. 👍🏻The spiciness level of the grilled fish is fixed, but the taste is incredibly authentic with lots of flavors brought by the Pickled Vegetables, Tofu, and Sichuan Peppercorns, without being overwhelmingly spicy. 🫑The fish’s flesh is firm and fresh, with very few bones, making it a safe choice even for those who are not accustomed to eating fish. 🐟The combination of deep-frying and simmering gives the fish skin a delightful crispness, while the broth is rich and flavorful. 😋😋The dish comes with added options of crystal noodles and pig intestines, which you can order separately.

What set these rice cakes apart was the slight frying technique used to enhance their texture. ☺️The outer layer had a delicate crispness, providing a pleasant contrast to the soft and sticky interior. The amount of brown sugar was generous and it’s a nice compliment to the spicy dishes!
