Haven’t been to yardbird for ages. Not very busy for a Tuesday night I was starving so I just randomly picked few skewers. Sweet corn tempura is my fav and it’s my must pick item. Returned to Yardbird and they never disappoint! Food and vibes are always on point 💯 We tried out some of the items that were sold out last time and everything was as good as expected! Pic 1️⃣: Clams Yakisoba - $230 hkd 🐚
— Didn’t get to try this last time round and heard the hype surrounding this! The sauce was a bit too sweet for me but it was still oddly addicting...The dish had such a creamy texture and resembled a cross between a saucy pasta dish and traditional yakisoba. The flavours were so complex and the clams were massive and SO delicious!!


Pic 2️⃣: Meatball - $48 hkd each
— A must order and an all time favourite! Honestly, no other place does their meatball as well as Yardbird. Everything from the seasoning, texture and the cook is just perfect. Their egg yolk and tare dipping sauce is also so delicious.


Pic 3️⃣: Katsu Sando - $100 hkd 🥪
— So good! The katsu chicken was well seasoned and deep fried perfectly. The tonkatsu sauce was so addicting and had a perfect balance of sweetness, spice and acidity to it. Loved the addition of cabbage to help balance out the dish.


Pic 4️⃣: Miso Breast - $45 hkd each
— The combination of parsley, basil and garlic made this super aromatic and tasty!


Pic 5️⃣: Wings - $45 hkd each 🐓
— The skin on this was so crispy it reminded me of fried chicken wings, whilst the meat was still super juicy and tender. Lightly seasoned with salt and shichimi to give it a bit of a kick.


Pic 6️⃣: Achilles - $65 hkd each
— This is sold out every time I visit so I had to try it out! Much larger than other yakitoris and didn’t expect to look the way it did. This was super juicy and tender, and I loved the garlic butter that went perfectly with the chicken.


Pic 7️⃣: Thigh - $45 hkd each 🍗
— Another all time favourite! The tare on this makes it so delicious as the meat just soaks up all of the flavour from it and because it is charcoal grilled, the tare caramelises slightly and gives it a lovely aroma.


Pic 8️⃣: Oyster - $48 hkd each
— Constantly sold out and a must order! This is the juiciest most tender part of a chicken, and I love that they don’t do anything fancy to it seasoning wise so the meat can shine on its own.


Pic 9️⃣: Sweet Corn Tempura - $30 hkd per piece / $110 for 4 🌽
— One of the most popular items and it’s no surprise why! A light and crispy corn tempura dish to start off your meal. It’s even better alongside their shichimi togarashi.


Pic 🔟: Liver - $45 hkd each
— Not a big fan of liver but I was told how good this was. Super flavourful and seasoned well. The seasoning masks the pungent metallic flavour that liver naturally has.



📍Ambiance: Very upbeat, lively and hip vibe. You’re guaranteed to have a good time here.

小插曲: 我哋嗌完第三round發覺串bicep仲未到,追咗三次,原來漏咗單。最後waiter好好咁free左比我地,再送多兩串thighs. 🤩🤩(結果試晒三款thighs😎)

總結係: 食開啖啖肉,唔愛脂肪嘅女仔應該同我一樣會鍾意食thighs ❤️
餐廳都幾難book一個禮拜前要book la (6pm/8pm/8:30pm/9:30pm/10pm), 我八點去到已經冇咗chicken skin etc hot items)

好耐冇去港島行街,難得老公約我出城,就去好多後生仔都去嘅潮店潮拜地😋本身係即興,所以撞下彩睇吓有冇位,因為之前已經知道如果吾book 位,真係未必可以食倒架👌今日好彩收工收得早,6:00前已左,不過已經坐左好多人,waiter好好人,佢話有張枱可以坐,不過要7:30交枱……正!入到去周圍環境都好似一間bar 而且仲有企位,型仔到爆!任何雞嘅部位都有得食,應有盡有!真係好😄慢慢燒,慢慢上,好野味,又大只,燒到好香D雞翼!D個必食,meatball D肉好嫩,點野只蛋同醬油冇得頂😍價錢一D都吾平,但服務一流,仲可以練習下英文,其實都吾錯,試吓無妨😍

(1) meatballs is always one of the best skewer I had ever tried in town. Great companion with the egg yolk, lifted up together with the sauce itself. If they offer ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT skewers set, this must be at the top list of the agenda. ENCORE ENCORE AND ENCORE!

(2) clam pasta is just impressive, creamy sauce does great with the clam, layers of tastes without any disappointment!

聽講FYY來過呢間餐廳做Live,朋友好有興趣,約我來試下😂本身麻麻地串燒嘅我,心心念念個KFC同黃金炸粟米,都係來試一試。

見到呢個名笑左好耐,事實證明呢個招牌菜真係成間餐廳最好食嘅嘢!係炸花菜黎嘅,包裹一層類似麵包粉嘅外皮,甜甜鮮鮮,加埋啲芝麻,好好味!食到停不下來!

成個粟米波波球咁,幾香脆,雖然冇想像中咁大,但一個食落都幾有飽肚感~~個人覺得有小小濟,一個已經好難食曬~

呢度嘅串燒以雞為主,有好多唔同部位揀,我地嗌左雞胸、雞脾、雞翼同免治雞肉,坦白講味道基本差唔多,不過都幾好味嘅,又唔會過於油膩。較特別嘅係免治雞肉串,點日本蛋配豉油。因為賣相很有特色所以我好高期待,但食落就好失望,肉冇咩香味,好似係澱粉做嘅,點果碟生蛋就更係悲劇...唔知係咪因為落太多豉油,鹹到一個點🥲

呢度環境岩飲酒,Friday night來happy hour係超好選擇!今次同frd就坐吧臺,有小小吵,不過成間店幾大,直接walk in都可以有位,別無他求啦~如果鍾意串燒嘅話,依度一定要試一餐lo🤪

The wings and breast are of average level. I think i will try its signature dishes next time, e.g., meatball, chicken skin and oyster. But the sweetcorn tempura 🌽 can be a nice appetiser. It’s crispy and flaky.

The service was quite nice. I arrived there at 11:50. I was not “reminded” to order, even if I sat there for almost half an hour waiting for my friend ⌛️. Probably becoz it was not packed at the time. I like the cozy atmosphere there .

Yardbird特別在佢用新鮮三黃雞(羽毛黃、爪黃、喙黃)為食材,每日將70-80隻雞分割,以由頭食到尾為理念,除咗雞頭之外冇一個部位用唔到,用哂成隻雞製作成23款雞唔同部位既串燒,而且有好多唔同既刁鑽部位,係平時大家都好小食到既部位,好似雞甲狀線,雞甲狀腺係雞頸附近,一隻雞可能得兩粒,一串雞甲狀腺要用十隻雞先可以製作到,所以係極度罕有,其他餐廳都好難食到。呢度嘅三黃雞都係由合和雞鴨供應,合和雞鴨係一間上環有大半世幾歷史嘅隱世雞檔,每日供應新鮮嘅雞比附近嘅餐廳,隨左yardbird,同為米芝蓮一星嘅belon、louise都係問佢哋攞貨。Yardbird嘅老細兼大廚Matt曾係前紐約壽司名店 Masa 同香港著名餐廳 Zuma 工作,都去過超過30個國家煮串燒,佢覺得香港雞係最好嘅雞種,因為可以控制佢嘅新鮮度,比起餐廳30公里以外、要用兩日時間空運過嚟嘅冷凍雞肉,新鮮嘅雞肉先可以做到好嘅串燒。外國雞全部都係白雪雪,就算點焗都係咁白雪雪,要加色上去,但香港三黃雞皮下脂肪夠厚,焗出嚟雞既顏色全部都好好,好似食譜書上面啲雞咁。喺其他地方好難搵到似香港雞呢種咁好嘅雞種,所以yardbird堅持用依間上環雞檔供應嘅本地三黃雞,作為佢哋燒鳥嘅主要食材,對雞嘅重量有要求,因為要計算切出嚟嘅成數,喺餐廳開業半年之前已經不斷嘗試最適合嘅雞重量,從而製作出最完美嘅雞串燒。

而呢間串燒店另一個賣點,係用備長炭黎燒,串燒都係鋪滿備長炭同日本木炭既6英尺長烤架上燒,本身備長炭最高溫度可以去到800度,火力非常平均,燒到嘢食金黃色,而且好多肉汁,亦都會有炭燒嘅香味,同其他用電爐燒係完全唔同,咁繁雜同考究既方法,將平凡既雞弄得不平凡,但呢類型嘅牌照其實係非常罕有,好難申請到,餐廳要做好多功夫,要比食環署檢查好多次,再加上抽風系統做得好,先符合到條例可以申請到牌照,所以係呢度幾大既一個特色。

以前Yardbird係不設訂座只有walkin,呢家開放可以係官網上訂位。Yardbird本身都已經成日full booking,係羅到米芝蓮一星之後就更加full。如果想訂位可以上官網,去book到一星期內嘅位,每晚12點更新可以book新嘅一日既座位,時間分別有17:00、17:30、18:00、19:30、20:00,但基本上每晚12點開始嘅5分鐘後,18:00、19:30、20:00嘅位置都會全部full哂,因為係正常既放工時間。而人數只係book到最多四人,如果你係多個四個人,可以試吓同時分兩次book,再打電話比店員要求盡量安排到附近嘅座位,佢哋會好樂意安排。

裝修佈置風格好現代,燈光好暗,係酒吧嗰一種暗,所以影相質素唔理想。座位方面有3款,可以立食、一般枱同吧枱,前邊係休閒酒吧區,會見到一排排梅酒成為餐廳整體內部裝修既一部分,而後面係正式雅座同卡位,餐廳總共可容納98個座位,空間感幾大,座位間隔闊落,唔會話聽到隔離枱嘅談話內容,室內設計師量身設計既枱櫈設計簡單、用料樸實,向復古工廠座位致敬,令新店既室內設計美學同舊址保持一脈相承,不過大小比較細小。中間會有個小角落,賣餐廳自家製嘅五味粉同T恤等等。裝修算係幾簡約,用餐位置唯一嘅焦點所在,就係個開放式廚房,一覽無遺,俾你望到入邊嘅熱鬧,但完全問唔到香味。入面唔算好寧靜,但又未到日式居酒屋個種熱鬧,我會話呢間餐廳似一間酒吧多過日式傳統居酒屋,格局都係似酒吧。呢度唔係日式個種師傅係食客面前燒,而係落單之後,燒好由店員羅過黎,加上店主不惜價錢投資既抽風系統,因為要經過濾之後先可以排出街,抽風系統幾好,所以完全唔會有炭燒味同油煙味。

睇過Menu,Menu全部都係英文,而且店員落單都係用英文,所以難怪吸引唔到日本人黎食。因為呢度有唔少係外國人食客,佢哋對雞內臟嘅接受程度,遠遠冇俾我哋由細食到大咁容易接受,所以對外國人來講,呢度咁多部位嘅雞串燒係幾新奇嘅食法。另外前菜部分有十幾款唔同既沙律,驚唔夠飽仲有飯、麵既主食,有魚、鴨,另外仲有炸物、湯、甜品供應,不過串燒方面就清一色都係得雞。

呢度特別之處係你可以單點想食乜就食乜,亦都可以黎個串燒omakase,講低你既budget,由師傅因應budget去預備份量,如果你係第一次嚟,店員會叫師傅準備一啲比較招牌、人氣嘅菜式。

入去到坐低之後,發覺其實食客都係外國人為主,其他都係本地人,反而搵唔到日本人,呢樣就更加證明呢間餐廳定位唔係日本傳統居酒屋,而係一間創新既酒吧,通俗咁講係一間鬼佬串燒店,食到非傳統既日式燒鳥。驚喜既地方係原來隔離枱個個係藝人鄭欣宜,以前已經係社交平台見過佢黎呢度食,睇黎識食既佢都係呢度既熟客。

因為我係食8點,8點其實係最後一個timeslot,去到時其實係牆上一個好似機場航班資訊既餐單上,已經睇到部分串燒已經售罄,好似雞頸皮、雞皮、雞膝軟骨、雞心同雞甲狀線,大家就可以知道邊啲串燒係最人氣。上面都有提及雞甲狀腺係極度罕有,通常都係第一款售罄既串燒,如果想食到應該要係6點既timeslot先食到。

一坐低餐廳要先嗌嘢飲,之後先會比Menu你叫串燒或者其他嘢食。酒嘅種類非常之多,有日本威士忌、紅酒、白酒、日本清酒、燒酒、啤酒、highballs、cocktails、甚至係墨西哥式啤酒雞尾酒。

係出面食串燒,只會有雞腿肉,但唔會分內、外,呢度既內雞腿肉都係人氣串燒,食8點既我好彩可以食到,因為賣單時見到佢已經售罄。
想像下人既內腿係邊,就可以諗到呢個內雞腿肉係有幾嫩,嫩滑程度應該係咁多串串燒最嫩,內雞腿肉烤到外面香口,內裡肉汁更加係令到反光,內雞腿肉用左鹽同黑椒調味,雖然佢無雞皮,佢帶有小小雞既皮下油脂,食起黎香到不得了。我覺得烤雞既火喉比牛、豬更加難控制,第一串雞串燒就先聲奪人,已經信心大增。

燒雞翼係香港人食串燒基本上必點既串燒,用黎測試一間串燒店既串燒技術質素去到邊,呢度既雞翼特別在會串左一舊檸檬,擺盤上幾特別,雞翼燒得非常好,咬落外脆內嫩,食落多肉汁,再加上一啲好似七味粉加鹽既調味粉,非常惹味。
雞翼入面既雞骨燒到好脆,一咬好似咬碎左咁,即使係咁,但雞肉食落都係好嫩,可見串燒技術非常了得。整體黎講,係一個好食既雞翼。略嫌雞翼既份量有啲細,一串得兩隻,唔太夠喉。

相信見到呢個雞翼尖上枱會呆一呆,因為會同大家認知既雞翼尖唔同,呢度嘅雞翼尖同雞頸皮有七成似,呢個雞翼尖已經將骨拆哂,將剩低雞翼尖既雞皮串埋一齊。未食之前以為係好脆口既口感,點知雞翼尖食落去係煙韌,比雞頸皮更少脂肪,但有足夠嘅油脂,食落唔膩,亦都唔需要用柚子醋中和佢嘅香口程度,我覺得甚至比雞皮仲要好食,好似係雞皮既加強版咁。

雞肉丸就係平時我去日式串燒店必點既一款串燒,即係免治雞肉棒,呢度叫雞肉丸。呢度既雞肉丸係雞搥混合雞背肌同洋蔥而製成,師傅應該係有將軟骨切碎撈入雞肉入邊,所以食落去唔會剩係得啖啖肉,而係咬落去彈中帶滑,多咗少少脆嘅質感,食落去唔會話好乾,非常juicy勁多肉汁,食完完全唔知師傅係點樣調配出黎。免治雞肉棒一般食法都會點蛋同醬油,呢度既蛋蛋味非常濃,質素非常好,蛋係比較稠身一啲,蛋黃唔係咁易整爆,食得出係日本蛋,再加上日式醬油,味道非常豐富同好食,成串雞肉丸食落係比較焦香、濃味,有啲人會覺得鹹咗少少,我自己覺得可接受,不過冇咁鹹可能蛋香更出,但佢已經係我香港食過最好食嘅免治雞肉串。

呢款汁燒雞肝,上面既係Yardbird特製既醬汁。基本上每一間燒鳥都有一個秘製醬汁,每間鋪頭既醬汁都唔同,係自己調製。而Yardbird既呢款醬汁由開業煮到呢家,所以醬汁既味道係越黎越多層次,食落去係越黎越特別,好似啲潮州餐廳既滷水汁咁,煮左一盤滷水汁,之後再煮一啲新既醬汁加落舊既,串燒好多時個靈魂就係個醬汁。Yardbird既醬汁食落係多層次,比較重口味一啲,有啲似日式醬油,又甜又鹹。雞肝燒到微焦,入口唔係好爽口個種,而係好滑好粉嫩,呈半熟香軟狀態,唔會有過熟既粉感,可見呢度處理內臟處理得非常好,一啲都唔醒,唔會有血腥味,醬汁混入山椒粉,可以大致蓋過內臟既味,留低既只有雞肝既口感,齒頰留香,鍾意食雞肝既朋友話係食過最好食既雞肝。

雞尾通俗既講法係雞屁股,好聽既講法就係七里香。呢度既雞尾絕對係令我大驚喜,雞尾外層咬落非常脆,而入面完全係雞屁股既脂肪,脂肪入口即融,完全係油脂感爆發,食落雞油味香,唔會話食到奇怪既味道,反而每一啖都係好香既雞油香,有油脂感但又可以做到外脆,從未食過咁好食既雞尾,無論係香港食過既其他日式串燒、港式串燒都無得比,港式串燒既七里香有時食落仲要有骨,呢個係完全無骨,係將雞既脂肪擺落口。所以呢個係咁多串雞串燒脂肪含量最高、其中一款最好食最有驚喜既串燒。

雞胗其實係雞嘅胃,係一個好似砂囊既胃袋,平時多數用嚟做滷味,但今次可以係串燒都食到。
雞胗加上炸蒜,食落香口到不得了,雞胗咬落係非常爽口有嚼勁,感覺好似食緊爽口既魷魚咁,食落唔會有腥味。唔知係第一次食咁驚喜,定係呢度將一樣平均既野食化腐朽為神奇。再一次感受到師傅既火候控制功力、精準調味同處理內臟既手法,無可挑剔。

呢款菜色係當晚最驚喜,都係我最鍾意食既一道,係一個炸天婦羅粟米波。呢道係餐廳既招牌,都係每枱客必點既菜色。
半個拳頭大小嘅粟米天婦羅,係用天婦羅粉包住粟米然後羅去炸,用小小鹽同胡椒做調味,做法非常有創意,而且好考技術。
外表非常香脆,但炸粉唔算厚,神奇在只用薄薄一層嘅脆漿將粟米可以組成一個波,但唔會一夾就散開變成一粒粒,由頭食到尾都係每粒粟米緊貼住。可以食到粒粒栗米,每粒栗米都好鮮甜,甜香非常突出,咬落爽口,雖然係一個波但食起黎唔會黏埋一齊,粟米入到口係粒粒分明,而且食到牛油既香味,成個食落惹味、大大啖,輕盈唔覺膩都唔會乾。
呢個粟米天婦羅份量都幾大粒,一個人一粒其實已經好夠,再食多粒可以會覺膩。

呢個Katsu Sando,係一款特別菜式,餐單上係冇,要喺牆上嘅另一塊機場航班資訊餐單先搵到,唔知係唔係期間限定菜式。Katsu Sando其實係好似一個鐵板燒和牛三文治,只不過由和牛變成吉列雞肉餅,一串得兩件,如果四個人就叫兩串。
雞肉餅個口質同之前個雞肉丸好似,都係混入左洋蔥,但呢個咬落更加實在,外層香脆,外表睇落好乾,但咬落去肉汁會咇出嚟。佢冇豬扒肌肉咁厚實,而係加咗菜粒嘅雞肉碎扒,鬆脆得來又惹味。日式燒汁係佢嘅主調,食落甜甜辣辣,都有沙律醬中和一下減低一下佢嘅鹹香,估唔到三文治配搭燒汁雞肉係咁好食,以為三文治食落會好乾,但有雞既肉汁,令佢非常入味,三文治食落輕盈脆身,一啖接一啖。

呢個其實係一個蜆肉意粉,意粉係用日式炒麵嘅蛋麵,但用好似意大利麵嘅做法,吸汁能力非常強,所以每一啖都係好重嘅蒜香牛油味,再加上蜆肉濃厚嘅海鮮味,非常入味。
而蜆份量驚人,第一次見蜆仲多過意粉,意粉就黎比海量既蜆淹沒,蜆係用大大隻嘅日本蜆,蜆肉非常飽滿大隻,食落爽口彈牙,肉夠肥美多汁,成碟整體味道比較重啲,估唔到一間串燒店,佢個意粉可以咁好食,係當晚其中一樣好有驚喜嘅菜式。

最後既甜品叫左雪糕三文治,味道有兩款,一款係海鹽爆谷烤栗米,另一款係蕎麥茶。雪糕三文治口味會每個月轉一次,所以唔一定係呢兩款口味,例如有黑芝麻口味。
雪糕三文治份量比相像中小,每一個三文治會分開4件,基本上一口一件。
烤粟米雪糕三文治周邊擦左花生醬,食落鹹左啲。
蕎麥茶雪糕三文治入面除左係蕎麥茶雪糕之外,有朱古力碎包住,蕎麥茶茶味清幽,不過茶味可以更出,兩層威化餅咬落香脆,有蕎麥茶脆脆點啜,增添口感,朱古力薄脆同蕎麥茶既味道不謀而合,平衡得宜,食落係偏甜,雖然價錢上進取左啲,不過係一個有小驚喜既雪糕三文治。

黎到見到有咁多cocktail,諗住一反常態,唔叫平時食串燒既絕配啤酒,比次機會呢度既cocktail,原本想叫有日本地方名既okinawa express但可惜售罄,所以叫呢個Yaki Lime。
Yaki Lime係用烤過既青檸加上冧酒同薄荷製成Mojito,飲落我覺得草青味稍為強左啲,所以唔係咁啱我嘅口味,下次都係唔亂咁嗌cocktail,乖乖飲返一定無伏既生啤。

🌟 食物方面黎講,呢度既串燒食落唔似係日本居酒屋食到既串燒味道,反而係比較獨創既特色,加入左一啲Fusion煮法,可能因為本身大廚係外國人,想法都比較新式一啲,所以我會話佢係非傳統既日式燒鳥,但今次證明左外國人都可以煮到不一樣既日本菜色。味道上黎講無咩可挑剔既地方,因為呢度用炭燒取代一般嘅電爐,炭燒做到皮脆而肉唔乾,香口當然不在話下,用備長炭燒唔會燻黑嘢食,所以今晚食既串燒都冇失水準,串串靚仔,色澤金黃,肉汁都鎖到實,醬汁都唔會過鹹蓋過雞本身嘅味道。另外雞既來貨都好重要,有好既雞,無好既師傅,唔得;有好既師傅,無好既雞,更加唔得,好既食材同好既師傅係相得益彰,呢度可以將好似綠葉既本土三黃雞,變成好似牡丹既高質燒鳥。

要挑剔既就係價錢偏貴唔夠平民,當晚大概食左三千蚊到,7個人人均大概300蚊,除左一個人比較大食唔夠飽之外,基本上其他人都食夠飽。串燒每串定價40-50,係香港黎講係偏貴,但我有喺香港食過其他日式居酒屋,人均三百幾,但食囉反而冇呢度咁飽肚,而且冇依度質素咁好。我會覺得依度係一分錢一分貨,如果想追求極致又創新嘅雞串燒味道,香港我會諗到呢間同中環既birdie,而今餐可以話體驗到本地三黃雞喺精心炮製下嘅串燒。

環境方面,呢度唔係平時大家食到好地踎既港式燒串,唔會係街邊、用摺枱、坐紅色膠櫈,一埋位就落兩串燒翠玉瓜、燒茄子既港式風味,都唔係日式居酒屋咁環境非常嘈吵熱鬧,邊食串燒邊飲highball暢談嘅氣氛,而係一間結合左歐美特色嘅居酒屋、食到日本串燒嘅酒吧。而且呢度既抽風系統令到入面唔會有炭燒味同油煙味,呢個係一個好好嘅優點,同時都係一個可惜之處,因為聞唔到香味,少咗好香、好想不停食嘅衝動,少咗呢種風味。

服務方面,串燒燒到有水準需要嘅係耐性,所以第一轉串燒會燒得比較慢,落單後大概等咗13分鐘就有粟米天婦羅同雞翼,之後差唔多每2至3分鐘就會上另一串串燒,上菜速度算正常可接受。而如果大家係第一次嚟,唔知邊啲串燒係人氣或者招牌,不妨比個budget幫你執一個組合,基本上唔係特別太食嘅話,$400-500係可以食得飽,有啲食物如果係一份,店員會幫你砌到變半份,等你可以試多啲,又食到佢哋嘅拿手菜色。另外店員會留意每張枱嘅需要,係收碟換碟、換足籤筒都幾快手,唔會要客人等好耐,而且走嗰時仲會送自家製嘅特製調味料比客人,值得一讚。

如果你覺得食雞料理,比唔上食牛、食龍蝦咁貴價,或者你覺得串燒係下欄嘢,備長炭只係一個噱頭,雞只係代表住cheap,甚或新鮮雞同雪藏雞都分唔到嘅話,咁呢間燒鳥未必啱你,黎呢度就會係追求燒鳥既極致、分割雞既藝術同炭火既堅持。但環境偏暗,而且少咗令人覺得流口水嘅燒烤香味。

欣賞依度嘅野食,無疑係食過最好食嘅燒鳥,慶祝特別日子好值得黎,甚至係happy Friday嚟飲番杯。老細Matt想Yardbird成為香港既一份子,而唔係一間外國餐廳,因為佢係生於香港,套用返一個紐約時報記者對Yardbird既描述,有紐約時報記者形容過Yardbird係呢個美食林立既香港入面,仍然係一間受歡迎同有影響力既餐廳,Yardbird已經係一間成功既香港餐廳。

last time I tried Yardbird was like 6 years ago when the time they were back in former location 😅I always wanna visit again and finally here I am. Their new shop is hugeeee and they became Michelin 1 star resto now! Their new shop is hugeeee and they became Michelin 1 star resto now!
So I arrived at 5pm to avoid the hype, and got seat right away 🥳

Introduce all the non-yakitori dish first :

- corn tempura (my all time favourite, as good as before)
- chicken katsu sando (from their special menu on the wall) minced chicken katsu with soft milky bread and tonkatsu sauce, taste really good !
- clam yakisoba - this one also on their special menu, was mouthwatering good, A bit salty, but is a Must order!
- KFC - spicy fried cauliflower , yum! Quite spicy though .
- meatball - tsukune is always my favourite dish from izakaya
- dessert - monaka soba tea icecream sandwich, must order if u still have room for dessert!

Yakitori 篇
We ordered almost all the yakitori from the menu 😂

🤩 are the ones I think must order!
First time trying thyroid and it was really good! It seems quite rare to see thyroid from other restos, so I think it is really worth to try.
The inner thigh was extremely tender, it almost felt like melt in my mouth.
The Chicken oyster’s texture is more firm than inner thigh, but soooo juicy!
Also, love the shiso flavour of ume thigh.

I love everything we ordered, all yakitori were made by different kinds of seasoning with strong Charcoal smoky flavour. But the regular thigh was a bit overcooked, not as tender as I expected. Other than that, everything was perfect!
Besides the good quality of their food, I also appreciated with their Super attentive service, vibrant vibe and stylish decor, I can totally get why there is a hype for so many years.

this is the n-th times visit to yardbird.I love it so much.the location is a bit far from the MTR ,so be prepared to sweat if you are taking MTR.I always love the music and atmosphere there.The staff are always friendly and energetic.however do come and order early as their favourite menu is always fast sellers and sold out quickly.all the food are nice but you have to order the followings:1)clam soba (creamy, well mixed) 2) oyster (you will scream when you eat)3) meatball (my favourite and must

4) mushroom fried rice (rich and yum)
5) gizzard (love the texture and garlic)
6) chicken skin (fat but yum)
7) achilles (juicy and chewy)

they are super yummy!!
i love it.

i can go there everyday❤️❤️❤️
