It was always a symbol of extravagance and decadence when dessert lovers went for high tea. The accompanying cream was very rich and it was a nice surprise to find jasmine tea jam. It would be unfair to compare the macarons with those from famed bakeries; the caramel was too sweet and heavy for my taste and the tea-flavoured one was still over-sugared but more tolerable. Tea was elegantly served in dainty sets - which was expected with this being their namesake and main attraction. The decor was classy and the service was fair. This constituted a very enjoyable decadent luxurious tea at $390 per head.
