It was mid-week and we teleported ourselves to this elegant French bistro for a relaxing evening. A basket of soft sourdough with escargot-style garlic & parsley butter to start, then there was a artistic plate of smoked sardines and muscat grapes served on spoonfuls of white gazpacho made with bread and almond, topped with balsamic vinegar- this is absolutely fancy, beautiful, and appetising! Ought to get out fingers dirty in order to squeeze all the juice outta our carabineros- the rigatoni was cooked with roma tomatoes and spinach in an intense lobster bisque. Added the red prawn juice to make it finger lickingly good. On the side, a crazily delicious ramekin of very crunchy green beans sautéed with balsamic reduction, finished with sea salt and chopped chives on top. Simple but genius recipe: extremely tasty and flavours popped right on your tongue. Profiteroles was our dessert: hot velvety hot chocolate sauce poured over choux puffs sandwiched with vanilla icecream, and garnished with whipped cream. The chocolate sauce was very rich and we ended up finishing the whole jar just like Pooh emptying his hunny pot.

今日同男朋友黎食法國餐,聽講呢間都幾正宗,價錢唔太貴,$358pp brunch set~幾鍾意呢間餐廳嘅裝修,俾人好優雅嘅感覺,可以慢慢享受返餐😚先食個新鮮法國生蠔🦪 生蠔好鮮甜,一定要配合旁邊酸酸甜甜嘅紅酒醋加洋蔥汁,唔單止可以去除生蠔嘅腥味,仲提升咗生蠔嘅鮮甜味,餐廳仲貼心咁預備咗一杯蘋果柚子汁,可以清一清味蕾~ 法國雞肝醬配脆麵包 我哋都好鍾意個雞肝醬,又冇腥味,口感順滑,味道略為鹹,所以一定要配合旁邊嘅脆麵包食,雞肝醬份量都幾多,我哋仲撈埋旁邊嘅法式麵包一齊食🤭 法式蒜蓉牛油焗蝸牛係經典嘅法國菜,一上枱熱辣辣整起,仲見到面上嘅蒜蓉牛油醬彈起,每一粒蝸牛都充滿着蒜蓉牛油味🥰法式檸檬汁漬魚生 好鍾意佢個醬汁酸酸甜甜嘅檸檬汁,令人好開胃😚 Grilled fish of the day 係三文魚 好鍾意佢嘅醬汁,仲有三文魚子同埋菠菜都煮得好好食,塊三文魚皮煎得薄薄一層,食嘅時候唔會成塊起晒,可以同埋中間滑溜嘅三文魚肉一齊食,整得好👍 香煎牛腹肉配薯條 Flap Steak with fries 叫咗medium,煎到外脆內軟,牛肉味濃,唔洗點旁邊嘅醬汁,入邊好juicy😋 最後係Coffee tea & dessert time 🥰 有三款甜品可以食,先食咗檸檬味雪葩,佢個底仲有紅莓汁嘅醬,撈埋一齊味道好夾!中間係朱古力慕絲,好滑溜,朱古力味濃,唔係死甜嘅朱古力😚 最後係杏仁蛋糕,熱熱地,食落有啖啖嘅杏仁香味,口感幾似豆蓉😋食完我地都好滿足,呢間法國小館真係唔錯🥰

打開假日嘅方式就應該食返個法式brunch上環都可以算係香港僅存一個殖民地氣息較重嘅地方差館里呢條斜路唔多車亦唔多人喺度望住窗口食brunch相當chill氣氛好輕鬆拍拖或者同三四個朋友唻都好適合今日嗌嘅呢個brunch set份量好好豐富到好似晚餐咁但又唔會飽到有負擔餐廳嘅裝修同食物都係好authentic嘅法國風情🍽️是日法式檸檬汁漬魚生以白身魚作為三道前菜嘅第一款,以檸檬汁輕輕醃過,帶啲啲微酸,清新、輕盈、開胃。🍽️法式蒜蓉牛油焗蝸牛蝸牛處理得好好,冇泥味,上枱極熱,只係食到蒜蓉牛油嘅香同蝸牛肉煙韌嘅口感,最後用法包點埋個汁,一餸二食。🍽️法式雞肝醬配脆麵包雞肝醬好香好滑,上面嘅醬嘅咸香味,有啲啲中式臘腸嘅感覺,但兩者加埋一齊居然點綴得好好,甜中帶鹹,有種嗒落又比第一啖有變化嘅驚喜。🍽️生蠔雖然俾齊哂附有洋蔥粒嘅紅酒醋,但生蠔本身亦好新鮮好夠海水味,原汁原味食都已經好好。仲有兩杯生薑味嘅shot俾食客清一清味蕾。🍽️煎海鱸魚魚皮煎到香脆,而魚肉就仲保持到嫩滑多汁,配搭嘅白酒奶油醬,同一般食到嘅白汁比,有種好細緻香滑嘅感覺。🍽️法式生牛肉他他配多士主菜揀咗牛肉他他,覺得真係非常好嘅選擇,幼細滑溜肉嫩又有口感,雖然係牛肉,但保持到brunch嘅輕盈。🍽️朱古力慕絲、雲呢嗱雪糕、檸檬撻好精緻,而且居然有三款,好豐富,mousse香濃細滑,配杏仁片,香口又有層次。檸檬撻就最驚喜,面層係厚厚一層火焰蛋白霜,入口即化,甜而不膩,底下嘅檸檬餡甜酸交錯,撻皮香脆,係個好清新嘅highlight。
