可能是因為開在半山的位置,我週末晚上去的時候餐廳也沒有全滿,不過食物的品質絕對是水準之上,我點了一份7分熟的西冷牛排佐煸炒馬鈴薯(248hkd),一份炸羊排佐奶油馬鈴薯(268hkd)。馬鈴薯居然變成本餐主角😂煸炒馬鈴薯做的有點像半煎炸的感覺,而且咸咸的味道就很涮嘴,奶油馬鈴薯很像奶油意麵的口味,奶味很香濃,重口的馬鈴薯配上調味簡單的肉很剛好,甜點的部分鬆餅皮偏厚,內餡是重甜的,算是比較典型的美式口味!

兩款口味各有特色,媽媽鍾意前者有焦糖香,我就鍾意食香甜嘅拖肥糖味,呢款布丁蛋香仲濃啲😚不過佢哋嘅布丁唔係滑溜口感,而係偏向有質感嘅口感🙈
今晚真係覺得好有驚喜,試到好多新鮮野❤️ps.店員都係用英語溝通✨

Going on a date with wifey on a Friday night, we randomly selected this restaurant on OpenRice as we craved for Argentinian steak.It turned out to be a pleasant surprise starting from the service provided by the staff. 終於到輪到食阿根廷菜 😋味道質素感覺好地道加上簡單的室內環境 如置身於當地一樣 首先有清香的蕃茄湯完全成個鮮番茄🍅飲落口,再嚟個炭燒牛扒味道除了有炭燒香味外還有肉質有咬口得嚟唔會有「柴口」嘅質感;去骨雞扒真係有點意外好味,傳統的阿根廷封煎雞扒配上傳統醬汁令到脆脆的雞皮及肉質更加多汁及滑溜,原隻切片的薯仔片,炸起後仲好食過包裝薯片 啖啖薯仔味,勁好味😋;最後甜品🍮焦糖布丁用了當地配方製作,香滑同蛋味真是齒頰留香

Maybe, this is the reason for its long history in the Soho region where many restaurants were closed quite quickly due to poor business. I ordered sirloin set today. It was a 2-course set with coffee/tea. I chose pumpkin soup instead of salad buffet as the veges provided were of insufficient variety. While the food was generally ok, the whole experience was a bit underwhelming and unsatisfying.The menu is quite concise and covers a variety of dishes. We ordered the soup of the day (broccoli), mixed empanadas, a tenderloin stomach and chicken brochette.The soup was a touch too salty. The empanadas were too dry for our taste, even with the added sauce. The steak and the chicken were quite good with a nice grilled flavour to it. The soup was a touch too salty. The empanadas were too dry for our taste, even with the added sauce.

The steak and the chicken were quite good with a nice grilled flavour to it. The steamed vegetables with the dishes were rather bland and boring. It would have been great had they been grilled as well.

The steak was a bit too rare, but not enough as to have to send it back. The chicken brochette was surprisingly large, so we had to take home half of it.

We did not click with the atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor is rather simple and not very welcoming, and the music, played on a loop was very annoying. I had expected some more traditional Argentinian music that allows for nice conversation. Instead, we got loud modern Latin music with quite explicit lyrics that was not relaxing at all.

In short, we walked away with the impression that La Pampa is one of those restaurants with great potential, but where the overpriced food items are there to cover the rent, instead of offering best quality and service.

我同友人分別叫了Sirloin Steak (250gm) 同 Lamb Rack w/Mint Sauce,全部要Medium, 首先講講Sirloin,塊扒本身夠juicy~~但中間部分較生,並且有少許部分較"Un"~~~(P.S.原來叫大分量d既扒餐會有侍應專門serve你)~~

相比之下,友人所點既Lamb Rack w/Mint Sauce肉味較濃,對煎煮既拿捏較爲準確~~

埋單人均約$300幾,係Soho黎講鋸扒算合理水平,鐘意特別扒房既朋友不妨一試~~

星期日,家庭樂!平時同家人都係去洒樓飲下茶,食下點心。聽聞呢度既set lunch 幾抵食,味道又唔錯,即管同家人嚟試下啦!1:30 pm 到餐廳,已經9成full, 好彩一早book 定位。Set lunch 大概有4款,$11x - $16x, 有Salad/soup + Main + Drink / Desert。我地叫了3 份 Steak 同 1 份Salmon。粟米湯有d 咸,但餐包哄得脆脆的,好味!Steak - Medium 剛好,Medium well 就有點over cook 了⋯Salmon - 味道不錯Desert - Chocolate mousse, 好味!

I am big steak fan and have eaten in most steakhouses in Hong Kong. The Sirloin I had last week at La Pampa was one of the better ones I had in a long time.Although my steak was served medium instead of medium-rare, it was very juicy with a beef flavour hard to find when eating US corn fed beef.There is a lot if work to be done in this town when it comes to good quality beef, flooded with hormone and antibiotica-packed US beef. The Sirloin I had last week at La Pampa was one of the better ones I had in a long time.

Although my steak was served medium instead of medium-rare, it was very juicy with a beef flavour hard to find when eating US corn fed beef.

There is a lot if work to be done in this town when it comes to good quality beef, flooded with hormone and antibiotica-packed US beef. Sadly all that counts in this town is the tenderness of the beef, flavour and healthiness are secondary.

This being said, the steak at La Pampa was surprisingly tender, I doubt though that the beef was organic which they claim on their website.

The manager was very friendly and entertaining. The waitress wasn't and didn't even want to let me enter the restaurant when I tried to make the booking at 2.30pm (there were still people sitting and eating).

Having eaten in all the other Argentina steakhouses in Hong Kong several times, finding a consistent steak quality is difficult. Saying this, Argentina beef is on the rise again and hopefully the reputation will soon be back at the point it was 20 years ago.
