The hot chocolate came in a pot and a petite-sized cup. The hot chocolate was very rich and had a hint of coffee to it. It actually did have caffine in it. It wasn't sweet nor bitter, so it was just perfect.
Having a sip made me realized that I needed some cake so I got the same piece of cake that my friend got, which was the Guayaquil ($60). According to the description, this cake was almond and cocoa biscuit covered with thick, dark, chocolate mousse, covered with dark chocolate frosting. This cake was really good. Every bite was densely packed with chocolate.

Veloute de Carottes: The carrot is poured in front of u as it arrives on the table. The presentation makes this dish look even more appealing than it is. The soup was delicious! It was creamy and hot just how I wanted my soup. The carrot and the herbs were very well balanced in the soup as well.
Poulet a la creme et crepes vonnassiennes: This is the chicken with light cream sauce and potato pancakes. My friend actually had this as her entree. The chicken pieces were very tender but the potato pancakes were a fail. It's not crispy and it had a burnt taste to it. Although I see everyone around me ordering this dish, it was my least favorite from the meal.
Gremelli au Saumon Fume: This was my entree choice which is a smoked salmon and herbs gremelli pasta. I really enjoyed this dish since the sauce was light and creamy and it went perfectly with the smoked salmon which gave a hint of saltiness to the dish. The pasta was perfectly cooked to al dente just the way I like it.
Jean Paul Hevin's parisian hot chocolate & Mazaltov cheesecake: The hot chocolate is definitely the star of the meal. For adding $20 you can upgrade to hot chocolate with your meal. I picked the signature parisian hot chocolate because the waitress suggested it's used with the darkest chocolate among the other drinks. This hot chocolate was smooth, creamy and surprisingly not overly sweet at all. It's also with a thicker texture than your typical hot chocolate. On the other hand, the cheesecake was a little bit disappointing. The cake was a huge piece but it was dry and the flavoring was very typical. Maybe also because it wasn't the type of cheesecake I was expecting it to be where it's creamy like new york cheesecake. This one is more like a spongecake texture. But it was stated on the menu that it's light and fat-free so it's a good choice for people who's watching their weight.
Overall, I think this was a satisfying lunch for the price and the amount of food you get. Also the ambiance of the restaurant is not bad too. It's more spacious than a lot of the restaurants around that area. Definitely will come back for some more of that delicious hot chocolate!

先講食物,Le Classique Set Menu指定就是一個牛角包 (可配不同醬),以及一杯熱朱古力,不過原來熱朱古力共有五款選擇,包括Parisien Hot Chocolate, Orange Juice Hot Chocolate, Matcha Hot Chocolate, Chestnut-fig Hot Chocolate及Green Apple Hot Chocolate,十分豐富呢! Vivi點了原味的Parisien Hot Chocolate,她一試完馬上大讚,還馬上下樓買了包朱古力粉回家沖製,魅力可見一斑!

When you enter this shop, it appears to be an ordinary chocolatier, but there is seating upstairs which is quite cosy, there is a mini rock garden above the entrance which can be seen on the 1st floor.
On my first attempt to dine at this place, they did not have the Raspberry one and it was helpful of them to tell me before I went upstairs to the cafe area. On my second visit, it was available so I dined there. When it came, the chocolate emulsion was contained in a classy vacuum glass cup which was clear and you could see round it.
The taste of this was amazing, because the chocolate was extremely light, it was bascially like fine whipped chocolate foam, and at the bottom I loved the tart raspberry compote and cream which made the dessert really dreamy. The chocolate foam is similar to the British dessert Angel Delight but much much lighter. The best thing about this dessert was that it was not sweet at all or even cloyingly sweet. ★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★: Summer iced teas:
There were basically two flavours but if you look at the menu above it is really misleading as well as confusing! Mint tea and green apple puree should be green but this is represented by the first picture because the green tea and apricot puree is referring to the second picture which should be the colour of the first. Anyway I ordered the second one, so I was expecting green tea with apricot puree.
When it came, the colour of the drink light green so I presumed it was the apricot. After taking a sip, there was some faint apricot taste but I could also taste mint too which should not be there. As well as the foul mint taste, it was too sweet. ★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★ Chocolat chaud nosy be: A pure cocoa from Madascagar with tangy and red fruit tones. The special chocolate drink was not available so I decided to get one of their signature hot chocolates, so I chose the one with red fruit tones, hoping it would taste as tangy as the dessert above.
Anyway, took one sip and it was a total disappointment, there was no red fruit tones in it. It was extremely plain sweet hot chocolate. I definately agree with HKE's comment that it should be quality and not quantity. The cup of chocolate at VERO's was slightly better. ★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★☆★
