在會展入完場, 真的要慰勞一下自己! 我們揀了這間比利時餐廳, 環境氣氛都很好! 因為已經3pm, 餐廳都沒什麼人, 只是express lunch 有discount....但沒有 tea set discount...好奇怪哦!天氣開始涼, 我們可以坐外面, 吹著風吃西餐, 感覺很偷得浮生半日閒!! Frites House Mussels ($375, 1 KG)青口加了砌碎了的蕃茄, 洋蔥, 蒜頭, 忌廉, 韭菜 , 不會 over-cooked, 每一隻都很大隻跟creamy!!! 忍不住都用手吃起來! 伴著餐包, 沾上了這個青口忌廉汁, 很鮮甜美味!Fish and Frites ($185) 薯條一定是這裡的賣點!! 炸得剛好, 上面落了少少鹽, 帶出了薯仔的香而魚扒很厚切, 但覺得有點太多炸粉, 及炸多了, 魚有點不夠滑, 只可以說OK!Side salad 的蔬菜很鮮, 用了 vingear 吊出味來! Rich Man's Burger ($165)這個Burger 超厚, 很足份量!! 烘了的burger bread 中加了 5 成的牛肉扒, 煙肉, 焦糖洋蔥,

I do go to Frities once in a while, great food there, but if you ask me what's my favourite, I would say cherry beer!They do reallie good mussels and sausages too.The white wine and tung yum kung muscle was so nice that we even finish off the soup.Everything was good except the service could be improved.One of the waiter spilled half of our bottle on the table and he just walked away.Not trying to be picky but I think at least an apology would be appropiate.  

這天拉大隊去灣仔客戶那邊開會, 開完會後剛好到了午飯時間，在老闆在場，自然要食好D啦, 但落雨濕濕, 不想行得太遠, 便在附近找到這間FRITES坐下。這間賣比利時菜的餐廳，環境有種濃厚的歐陸古典風味, 進入餐廳後, 令人忘郤身處繁忙的香港市中心。我們每人各自點菜，午餐的選擇有魚、鴨腿、牛扒等，我揀了鴨腿。Twice Cooked Duck Leg ($148)鴨腿烤煮過，然後放在湯內，使之肉質結實，但似乎煮得過於結實，有點硬的感覺，反而湯汁很香濃，而配菜的蕃薯蓉甜美得很，完全搶了風頭。餐湯是Lemon & Rosemary Chicken Soup (檸檬和迷迭香雞湯)， 檸檬和迷迭香份量太淡，但以雞湯來說，仍算是不錯的。餐廳空有浪漫氣氛, 食物質素郤普通得很，實在有點浪費!

The food was alright and they have a variety of beers. But $55 for chips and a happy hour that is not really a real one makes this place a disappointment. The service is poor and before you place an order, please make sure you confirm every item you ordered at the price that you think you read, because they won't bother warning you or canceling the order if you presumed wrongly.

This was my 5th visit to Frites. Thank goodness they are modern and allow for on-line reservations. Although, even with this, they did not have my reservation.  Luckily I had my confirmation on my phone to refer to.As usual, we order the mussels.  This time was the House mussels which have a light cream base. As others have commented on, the size of the mussels are inconsistent this time.  One one of my prior visits, many of the mussels still had their beard which made it very unpleasant.  Overa

想飲多種類啤酒同食有水準既野食, 位於灣仔既 Frites Belgium on Tap 係唔錯選擇 Frites 提供70多個品種可供選擇既美味比利時啤酒, 啤酒menu重要特別過人, 叫做"啤酒聖經 ". Frites招牌菜係貽貝以桶上配炸薯條和蛋黃醬 (MUSSEL POTS SERVED WITH FRITES + MAYO) , 可以叫 1/2 KILO (公斤) OR 1 KILO (1/2 KG $225, 1KG $375)餐廳一邊係bar枱, 另一邊係木製枱同椅子, 樓底高配上吊燈風扇, 整體環境有氣氛(1) FRITES HOUSE MUSSELS (diced tomato, garlic, onion, light cream and fresh chives)--1/2 KG $225----每次黎食都會叫依個, 貽貝唔腥, size 細細口感好 , cream source 質地同味道夠濃 , 幼身炸薯條熱騰騰同香脆, 薯條可選擇點蛋黃醬或用桶入面既cream source食, 感覺大滿足 雖然貽貝桶會配埋一塊麵包 (可沾汁食), 但小去食因為驚好怏

Frites除了名物青口及啤酒外，這間比利時餐廳日間亦提供三道菜的商務午餐，以迎合一眾上班族。百多二百元一個lunch，值得與否，且看其食物質數如何。餐廳位於灣景中心平台Brim，可遠遠望到海景，景觀十分開揚，置身其中，竟帶點點歐陸情懷。Belgian Roast Chicken$168是我們的express lunch。雖說是express lunch，但一點也不馬虎，有齊前菜、主菜及甜品，而且每份都份量十足。前菜挑了BLT Salad，煙肉、生菜、蕃茄這經典組合加上mayo醬本就是無得輸，驚喜之處竟然是襯以蒜味的麵包粒，蒜香、爽脆、酸滑集於一身，令沙律的口感頓時提升起來。主菜有半隻烤雞，皮不特別脆，還好肉嫩汁豐，配菜有青蘋果沙律、檸檬薯角，襯上混入蒜粒及開心果的沙律醬，與烤雞融合起來味道溫和，又不會太肥膩，不錯。甜品是Strawberry Trifle，由冧酒海綿蛋糕、雲呢拿奶凍層層構成，綴以士多啤梨，滲出陣陣酒香，喝完咖啡仍是醉人。兩大件炸鰨魚柳、「堆積如山」的薯條、沙律、薄荷青豆茸、他他醬等全部罝於板上，大堆頭的Fish & Frites$188單是賣相已夠睇頭！炸魚柳鮮嫩脆口

Frites Belgium on Tap比利是, 大家可能即時諗到既係朱古力, 但係其實啤酒都好多選舉~襯朋友生日, 我就BOOK左呢到食dinner, 可能我地早, 6點半左右到所以都冇咩人, 好多人都係happy hour 緊~ 氣氛好輕鬆。我地點左兩樣野~1) Steak and Frites上面有salad w/ cheese 同埋chips: 呢2樣野都唔錯, 個salad 幾fresh, 我好鐘意fresh 蔬果salad, 呢個作為set既份量少左d, 不過都ok! 而chips呢? 熱呼呼上檯, 脆口~個rib eyes我地要左medium 再加上應該有海鹽既butter, 好香~ 肉味濃~ 只不過太薄, 而且overcooked 左少少~2) 叫左一個frites house mussels, 簡單叫佢因為佢係house signature~應該唔會出錯~ (嘻嘻) 每一隻mussels都好嫩. 有麵粉同薯條比你點d汁黎食~ 我未去過比利時, 唔知道d汁係唔係應該咁稀, 好似太濕咁~ 我希望佢可以creamy 多少少~ 比較咸。總括黎講, 環境好靚, 入夜愈來愈多人

7/10 plates emptied!My favorite happy hour place in Wan Chai, the night can start with your favorite beer – Stella? Hoegaarden? Let’s go for something less ordinary? You will be amazed by the BEER Bible they have at Frites which offers all premium and local brands from Belgium. I often come for their mussels and happy hour and when I’m in the mood – I would just randomly choose a brand from their “Bible” as a part of food/alcohol exploration! Beer time! Finished my job at the HKCEC, then went here for a lunch. Less than a minute i decided to have a mussel pot 1kg for myself! As usual, I come here just for the mussels.  However still have jobs in the afternoon so i didnt order a beer this time, what a pity.  The pot came after 10mins.
