Had the buffet on Thursday evening. We thought that there would be many ppl but it was actually about half full. We sat next to the escalator, where it was much better than under the crowd. There were many delicious food on the buffet table.1. Salad: mixed greens, cherry tomoato, mushroom...etc. the vegetables were fresh and tasted good together with vinegar. the cherry tomato was sweet. but the mushoom was too salty. There were many delicious food on the buffet table.
1. Salad: mixed greens, cherry tomoato, mushroom...etc. the vegetables were fresh and tasted good together with vinegar. the cherry tomato was sweet. but the mushoom was too salty. There were also some aspargus, baked tomoato with cheese and corn, baked eggplant with tomato sauce etc. It was so good to have some salty items to balance the sweet.
2. Cold cut: there were different kinds of dried meat, ham and sausage. OK tasty.
3. Cookies: All were delicious and crispy. I like the almond one the most. Cheese stick was also highly recommended.
4. Sandwiches: There were several kinds of finger sandwiches. We didn't try.
5. Cakes and Pastry: Many different kinds of cakes, the whole one or the pieces. I nearly tried all of them. All were excellant or good.
I like the tiramisu the most. the tastes of wine, chocoalte and cheese were so balance. the texture was also very good. it was comparable with Royal Garden.
Chocoalte cake: there were two kinds of chocolate cake. both were not too sweet. had great flavour of dark chocolate. very delicious.
Walnut and chocolate cake: many many walnut in the middle. very tasty.
Mango cake, dome cake (the most famous cake in cova), chestnut cake....etc. all were very tasty.
Blueberry cheesecake was so so becuase I like hard cheese cake more.
6. Fruit: There were some melon, watermelon, pineapple....fresh. Good to have a fresh after so many desserts.
7. Ice-cream and juice: each guest had one ice-cream and one glass of juice. no choice for the ice-cream. we can choose the juice from pineapple, orange, grapefruit and tomato.
Overall, the food had adequate diversity, from sandwiches to cake, from salty to sweety, from veg to meat. The food was replaced with another type after a round.Therefore, there were many differnt kinds of food. All were tasty.
The price was very reasonable. $168+10%, and there were buy 4 get 1 free.
The envirnoment was comfortable. it was a perfect place for 4 girls!
