I have been to Bresola several times. The food is always good. The service is attentive and friendly. There are quite a number of new restaurants at the moment and i guess they stole some spotlight from this little gem. Honestly, i think a few restaurants on the Davis Street are quite good but they are on a much higher price point than Bresola. The food at Bresola is always fresh and of good quality. The portion is really generous. The price is more than reasonable. I'm genuinely bewilde

I have been to Bresola several times. The food is always good. The service is attentive and friendly.

There are quite a number of new restaurants at the moment and i guess they stole some spotlight from this little gem. Honestly, i think a few restaurants on the Davis Street are quite good but they are on a much higher price point than Bresola. The food at Bresola is always fresh and of good quality. The portion is really generous. The price is more than reasonable. I'm genuinely bewildered why it isn't fully packed all the time.

Tonight, I had a slow cooked pork chop and ribs on their daily special. Most delicious and tender pork chop with the right amount of fatty bits. Ribs had great flavour too. The mashed potatoes was yummy. i was so full. The portion was really big but i couldn't help finishing all of it.

My financee had a seafood linguine. The pasta was really well cooked to al dente. Lots of seafood. Really tasty. At the price of HK$ 128, nobody could ask for more.

We shared a Banoffi caramel cake for desert. Freshly baked. the pastry was still crispy. it was geuine comfort food. We love it.

I hope if anyone is in doubt, please give it a try. It won't disappoint you.

A lazy sunday in KT and not sure what to eat. Wandered past here and their ribeye steak set lunch caught my eye..Dishes:Mixed salad: Topped with pancetta, not too crispy Some warm butter or maybe some fat from the pancetta pan was the base for the dressing. A little vinegar and some fresh, tangy greens cut through this well! Very tastyNZ ribeye steak:This was a terrific steak. A lazy sunday in KT and not sure what to eat. Wandered past here and their ribeye steak set lunch caught my eye..

Dishes:
Mixed salad: Topped with pancetta, not too crispy
Some warm butter or maybe some fat from the pancetta pan was the base for the dressing. A little vinegar and some fresh, tangy greens cut through this well! Very tasty


NZ ribeye steak:
This was a terrific steak. Bigger than I expected for the price, served with a jus or reduction of drippings cooked down to a satiny burgundy colour, and the waitress added plenty of coarsely ground black pepper for me at the table!! Just as it should be
The meat itself was cooked a perfect medium rare - nowhere raw but a nice rich red throughout the centre. Very good quality too: it accomplished the ribeye party trick of rich and deep flavour combined with lovely tenderness. This is not a steak house, and you can't expect a crunchy char on the outside, but other than that a truly good steak.

Sides: mixed vegetables that were blanched enough to be still a little crunchy, and glossed with butter. My only complaint: the potatoes, though tasty, were of the frozen wedges variety.. Some new potatoes, or even something like polenta, might have fit better with the Italian focus, and the general high standard of the kitchen.

Overall unshowy, skilfull cooking. Bresola got many small things right that lots of places mess up. $108 plus service seemed like a very fair price. There was also the option for tiramisu or coffee included in the set, but I was full already. I'd say they have a chef who actually can cook, and I'll be back to try the dinner menu

今日lunch去左呢間餐廳,前菜我點左南瓜湯,味道好清新,蔬菜沙律非常新鮮,沙律菜係冇黃冇銹色,真係好鮮甜,主菜點左煎魚柳配炒磨菇配薯蓉,魚味好清新,拚磨菇薯蓉係好嘅配搭,如果大家鐘意涌淡D,呢個魚係一個不錯的選擇。而甜品我選左tiramisu, 買相已經好靚,甜度適中也帶酒香,好味。

西環越來越多新食肆, 住在這區的我也會不時跟家人朋友逐一試一下~光顧過這間義大利餐廳兩次, 食品質素都意外地令人很滿意, 外籍經理很nice, 價錢也合理, 但可能是新開不久客人不多....回家後覺得它們值得有個好食評, 所以忍不住要上來把它推介給還沒發現到它的食客~~第一次是3人的晚餐, 沒有刻意記下菜式的名字, 那次點了:- parma ham pizza- chicken breast (main course)- 蟹肉意粉- 鮮番茄夾著軟身cheese的一個小食- 4杯紅酒因為是隨便試這餐廳, 在沒有expectation下, 全部菜式的味道都能給我們驚喜: -- pizza用料很足, parma ham也很香; 雞胸main course肉很嫩, 配菜及sauce也美味; 蟹肉意粉硬度適中也香; 番茄夾cheese沒有拍下來, 但份量也很多, 起碼有6,7塊~~ 這餐每人消費也不到二百, 大家也覺得非常ok!------------------------------試過晚餐後, 改天跟家人再來試set lunch, 每人各點了些不同的來試:- soup of the day

因為是隨便試這餐廳, 在沒有expectation下, 全部菜式的味道都能給我們驚喜:
-- pizza用料很足, parma ham也很香; 雞胸main course肉很嫩, 配菜及sauce也美味; 蟹肉意粉硬度適中也香; 番茄夾cheese沒有拍下來, 但份量也很多, 起碼有6,7塊~~ 這餐每人消費也不到二百, 大家也覺得非常ok!

這次的食物水準跟上次一樣, 沒有因為是set而變不好
Salad份量以set來說算頗大的, salad菜也很鮮嫩; carrot soup好味; sole-fillet 煎得很不錯, 魚的肉質也有彈性,不像一般set-lunch的雪魚; rib-eye火候剛好, 很tender; 最後的tiramisu也很香滑~

遲些再encore!
