We recently had the pleasure of dining at Honjo, a modern Japanese restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience! We recently had the pleasure of dining at Honjo, a modern Japanese restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy atmosphere and tasteful decor set the perfect tone for the evening. Our server was exceptional, taking the time to explain the menu in detail and helping us make the best choices.
We started with the sparkling sake, which was incredibly refreshing and a great way to kick off our meal.

Edamame with Sea Salt

The octopus tartare was a delightful surprise, bursting with unique flavors that exceeded our expectations.

Next, the sashimi platter was impressive, featuring an array of exceptionally fresh pieces, each beautifully presented.

The lobster maki was another highlight; it was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the flavorful dipping sauce and crispy fried seaweed that accompanied it.

The braised pork belly was perfectly cooked, pairing wonderfully with the rich sauce and proving to be wonderfully juicy.

To finish, we indulged in the black sesame crème brûlée and yuzu sorbet for dessert, both of which were fantastic.

Overall, Honjo offers a dining experience that stands out among other restaurants in Hong Kong, making it well worth every dollar spent. I can’t wait to return and try the tasting menu next time!

另一道主菜揀咗烤豬五花🐖反而有啲驚豔到🤩豬五花嘅份量幾足夠而且肉同油脂層次分明🐽配上蛋黃醬, 芥末同蔥花中和油膩感🌿味道香口而有令人滿足嘅感覺☺️

✨️Dessert｜Yuzu Sorbet
最後以柚子雪葩甜品作結🍧柚子雪葩質感好綿密🍊但本身味道偏甜再加上檸檬糖漿令到整體比較甜膩🤌而且同火龍果, 西瓜等生果唔算太夾🍉

整體嚟講係性價比幾高嘅lunch set💖係喺restaurant week期間訂位📞餐廳環境已經好舒適好有格調💐食物質素都保持水準每道菜都頗有誠意🥰回頭率幾高會期待下一次試試晚餐menu🍽無論情侶/朋友聚會都十分合適嘅地方👭

先點杯特色Cocktail，是Old Fashioned的變奏版，以威士忌作底酒，故有琥珀的色澤，入口有橙皮輕輕的果甜香氣味，加上淡淡的煙燻味道更是特別。

Kochi Highball
太太點了另一杯Kochi Highball，以Gin作為基調，加入柚子酒、梳打水等，酒氣香醇，帶一點清新的果香，十分開胃。

先來一客日式枝豆送送酒，枝豆簡單加上海鹽，以最單純的食味，令人不停吃完一粒又一粒。

另外點了一客炸豆腐沙律，豆腐是以日式的炸法，裹住豆腐的一層脆皮雖薄卻脆，鬆化香口，入口不油不膩，豆腐件件口感外脆內軟，配以底下的洋蔥以及青瓜蓉同吃，另有一番新鮮清爽的口味。

點了兩款日式卷物，Spicy Tuna Crunch以大量的吞拿魚蓉、加上牛油果以及三文魚子，入口甘香豐厚，而其中的香辣口味更是為卷物帶有刺激味蕾的味道，而Spicy Desu則是以炸蝦為主角，加上大量的飛魚子，入口有極爽脆的口感。

之後點了一客炸軟殼蟹，軟殼蟹面衣薄而脆，通過天婦羅的面衣與油炸香氣突出食材的本味，軟殼蟹本身蟹鮮味濃，配以底下的香辣蛋黃醬，一流。

Corn Tempura
點了十分特別的粟米天婦羅，粒粒的粟米只以輕薄清脆的外衣連接，輕蘸天婦羅汁，入口微鹹微甜，粟米自身的清甜，加上紫菜的鹹香，無比鮮美。

Barramundi
主食點了一客燒海鱸魚，大片的海鱸魚，以最簡單的鹽燒做法，不會掩蓋海鱸魚自身的油香以及魚鮮味，輕蘸芥末青豆蓉同吃，口味獨特可口，更上一層樓。

點了一客和牛釜飯，原個鐵釜鍋上枱，熱力能將和牛油脂融入米飯之中，米飯粒粒分明，潤而不油，色彩清雅亮麗，加上溫泉蛋以及松露醬油的獨特幽香，每一啖都滋味豐美，也有口感與味道變化不一的驚喜。

甜點侍者介紹了這款White Chocolate Mousse配抺茶雪糕，White Chocolate Mousse白朱古力味香濃但不過甜，配以甘香的抺茶雪糕同吃，十分滿足。

Yuzu Sorbet
另外點了一客柚子雪芭，雪芭驚喜地口感綿密細膩，酸甜適中，口味清新可喜，正好為這一頓飯作結。

Thin slices of lightly seared, melt-in-the-mouth tender beef fillets topped with some crunchy toasted rice and shishito pepper, dipped in deliciously refreshing tosazu (a mixture of vinegar, soy sauce and sweet cooking rice wine) with a touch of tangy chorizo oil

Topped with shredded Japanese saffron (sil-gochu)

The salt-grilled salmon head was on point; crispy skin laid with gelatinous layer of fat, accompanied by charred lime to give a sour kick.

Salmon kamameshi
The iron-pot rice which was mixed with grilled salmon and ikura (salmon roe) was creamy and deliciously unctuous, tasted like Italian risotto but with the distinct aroma of salmon that felt Japanese.
