Meeting up with a friend who lives in the Tseung Kwan O area, we decided to have dinner here at Beans. I've been here before and thought the food was decent enough. Especially the cake!Beans is pretty popular. Originally from Tsuen Wan, it's now expanded to several locations throughout Hong Kong. Serving cafe style food for the masses. They seemed to have something new on the menu from the last time I was here so decided to give it a try. Peking Duck Bun ($118). What was that? This is what it was.

This is what it was. A tiny little white bun that was actually a mantau bao with slices of roast duck skin sandwiched in between. Lots of hoison sauce filled it up. Instead of the spring onions and cucumbers that are found in Peking Duck, they had coriander and carrot slices. It taste pretty good (except for the bun as it was a bit on the dry side). It was a bit small and I would have wanted a bigger size as this cost over $100. But otherwise, it was pretty good. It came with a side of fries and salad. Both ok but not fantastic.
