This shop would really give me a sweet tooth and cavity because I was so spoiled for choices!! There was a huge variety of waffle and pancakes especially considering how this was an independent dessert shop (which tends to be more Hk/ Chinese style desserts in my opinion). In the end we got the honey cinnamon waffle and taro ball jelly cup. The waffle had a generous amount of cinnamon sprinkled on it that I could smell it as she was putting the plate down hahha! The waffle was hot and crispy on the outside and mildly chewy on the inside. Topped with vanilla ice cream, some cream and banana, it was absolutely delicious! For me, the best thing about the taro ball jelly cup was taro balls as it was freshly made(or heated idk) cause it was still warm while the rest of the dessert was cold. Also, I could actually taste the ingredients of the balls so I could taste the taro or sweet potato when I chewed it! 👍 the Jelly in the center was harder and blander than I expected it to be and so it is best eaten with the other ingredients together to enjoy the dessert 😋
