Came here for lunch during a weekday. This restaurant is close to cwb mtr station in the heart of the city. My friend and I ordered 2 types of rice don. One is with chopped fatty tuna and seared scallops. The chopped tuna is nice and fatty. Excellent on the sushi rice. The scallops are very fresh and the sear gave it a nice flavor top of the sweet meaty scallops. The scallops are finished with a dollop of truffle which gave it a nice aromatic profile. the other bowl contains loads of fresh uni from Korea. Which is definitely my favorite type of sashimi. It is creamy sweet and prefect on rice. On the side of the bowl it is a large red shrimp and slices of yellow jack sashimi. In the middle a pile of the fatty tuna. This bowl has a bit more variety and a good pick for sure. The ingredients are super fresh and the rice is very nicely cooked and seasoned. This shops does both so well. Definitely takes me back to Japan. A great afternoon escape to Japan during this pandemic! Shout out to the staff they are super nice 👍 great service.
