Inspired by an imperial concubine’s desire for beauty, the milk soup with rosebuds uses high-end Japanese ingredients that are aromatic, aesthetic and appetising. Once the milk rosebud in the middle melted, the frothy broth became even creamier. I particularly enjoyed how the pumpkin underneath was super sweet after soaking up all the flavours (tip: remember to only use P3 or P4 settings to avoid a burnt taste!)

We couldn’t stop taking photos of this exquisite ‘eiffel tower’. The portion was just right for the two of us and the premium seafood (coral crab, abalone, shrimp, scallop, tuatua clam and mussel) was super fresh while the meat (US angus beef and pork) was perfectly sliced and tender.

I loved the oriental presentation of the 7 flavours. Short recap:
- Faves: shrimp, cheese meatballs
- Most unique: cuttlefish with taro coconut
- Safe choice: beef
- Spicy: cuttlefish with green curry/ red fermented beancurd
- Not for everyone: cuttlefish with salted egg yolk
𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬Didn’t expect that they also serve such fancy mocktails. I got the fizzy 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗲 #forthegram while the kiwi-based 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 was super refreshing with the cucumbers and not sour at all!
